When Gu Xiaonuan came home from work, Lu Yichen was, as usual, seemingly engaged in a new book discussion. After all, with the contract signed with that publishing house and Lu Yichen being a consistently popular breakout author, his next book was already a hit before it was even written.

As Gu Xiaonuan walked past his room, voices from inside drifted out. He really was highly valued.

Just as she was passing by, the door suddenly opened, and she was gently pulled inside. A warm breath came close in an instant.

“You’re back.”

Lu Yichen hugged her with a smile, then quickly let go. “I still need a little while here. I’ll come over when I’m done.”

After speaking, he patted Gu Xiaonuan on the top of her head and pushed the door open to go back inside.
