Feed Me, Husband - Chapter 25
The man in her arms was trembling lightly, and Gu Xiaonuan couldn’t help but hold him even tighter.
In the silent room, a very soft footstep sounded as someone entered.
Gu Xiaonuan’s eyes were so dark it seemed blood could drip from within. Her icy aura slowly enveloped both her and Lu Yichen.
The footsteps quickly crossed the living room, heading straight for the bedrooms in the back. The bedroom doors were pushed open one after another. Gu Xiaonuan’s body tensed, and she couldn’t help but hug Lu Yichen even more tightly in her arms.
The man’s arms responded with equal strength, his ears already flushed red.
“Hm? Not here?”
The newcomer checked every bedroom, then returned to the living room. “Daring enough to sneak out at this hour?”
Gu Xiaonuan was taken aback. This voice… she had heard it before.
She loosened her arms slightly, suddenly remembering something. She had attended only a handful of clan gatherings with Ji Xiangnan in the past, and the owner of this voice had been present.
She was likely one of the clan members who had a good relationship with the Old Man.
Sensing that she might try to leave him, Lu Yichen’s arms tightened around Gu Xiaonuan, even pressing her body down a little.
“Heh, interesting.”
In the dark living room, a graceful and enchanting figure stood there. Blood-red eyes swept over the room, then she turned and opened the door, leaving.
Gu Xiaonuan heard the door close. Soon, the music from next door started up again. Only then did she breathe a sigh of relief. As long as it wasn’t a hostile clan member, the Old Man should be fine too.
“It’s all right now.”
She gently patted Lu Yichen in her arms, thinking he was holding her so tightly out of fear. “I thought she was an enemy, but thankfully she wasn’t.”
As Gu Xiaonuan said this, she relaxed a little herself, her body sinking softly. But suddenly, she realized something was wrong.
Lu Yichen’s whole body was burning hot as he held her tightly, not allowing her the slightest retreat. The reaction below made it clear to Gu Xiaonuan, even if she didn’t want to understand.
She let him hold her in silence. It was only natural to satisfy his physiological needs.
But Lu Yichen made no further move, only hugging her tightly, his face buried in the crook of her neck, letting out low, ragged breaths.
Gu Xiaonuan turned her head slightly and saw his ears, red to the tips.
He just held her like that, a thin sheen of sweat on his body, his head resting on her shoulder.
“I’m sorry, could we… stay like this a little longer?”
Gu Xiaonuan gave a soft “mm.” “Are you… all right like this?”
The man trembled again, his slightly loosened arms tightening once more, pressing Gu Xiaonuan against his chest, his lap, his waist.
His handsome face, flushed red, was full of restraint, his voice a pleading murmur. “Please… don’t tease me anymore…”
Gu Xiaonuan wanted to say, If you need me, I can, but in the end she held back.
She felt as if he was about to cry.
She fell silent, as obedient and cold as a doll. Lu Yichen’s hands pressed firmly against her back, their chests pressed so close there was no space left between them.
The man panted softly, lifting his eyes slightly. “Can you… hold me like you did just now?”
Gu Xiaonuan responded with a soft sound, raising her arms to wrap around his neck. Lu Yichen let out a muffled groan, lifting her body slightly from his lap.
She was positioned in the most fitting way, pressed intimately against him.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, just wait for me a little longer, just a little…”
Lu Yichen’s own heat seemed to make the small space grow even warmer. Gu Xiaonuan felt his heartbeat growing more and more frantic, her gaze beginning to blur.
Neither of them moved, but the temperature refused to drop.
Looking at the bruised bite mark on his neck, it was simply the most tempting trace.

Gu Xiaonuan’s fangs emerged from her mouth. She leaned forward slightly, found her favorite spot, and bit down.
“Mmm!”
Lu Yichen’s body trembled violently. His hand pressed against the back of her head, as if longing for her fangs to sink in even deeper.
Gu Xiaonuan’s eyes were half open, savoring the sweet taste flowing into her mouth. Biting here would make the marks heal more slowly, but Lu Yichen wouldn’t be going out these days anyway.
She took another sip. It didn’t matter.
Lu Yichen’s breathing grew more and more rapid, his body temperature rising. His other hand held tightly onto Gu Xiaonuan’s waist, wanting to pull her even closer.
“Little one, if you’re done playing under the bar, you’d better come out early.”
It was that same voice. Gu Xiaonuan snapped back to her senses in an instant, retracting her fangs and licking away the blood at the bite marks.
“Mm.”
Lu Yichen, who was clutching her, let out a low moan that sounded almost like he was about to cry. With his rapid, shallow breathing, his whole body went limp and collapsed into Gu Xiaonuan’s arms.
“This human’s heartbeat is so fast-he must be about to faint.”
Looking at the limp Lu Yichen in her arms, Gu Xiaonuan suddenly realized the space under the bar was too cramped. The two of them had squeezed in there for so long, and with Lu Yichen’s excitement, it must be… oxygen deprivation.
Gu Xiaonuan pushed aside the stool blocking her and quickly crawled out from under the bar. Lu Yichen leaned weakly against the inside, his eyes moist as he looked at her, as if asking, “Where are you going?”
Gu Xiaonuan bent down and carried him out from under the bar.
Without so much as a glance at the living room, she carried him straight into the bedroom.
Someone standing in the living room couldn’t help but sigh when they saw Lu Yichen wearing only his underwear. “Not a bad meal. You, who used to hug nothing but blood bags, can now be so romantic. Did Xiang Nan teach you that?”
Gu Xiaonuan didn’t reply. She laid the man in her arms on the bed, pulled the covers over him, and Lu Yichen looked exhausted and drowsy.
“…Don’t go.”
As soon as he sensed Gu Xiaonuan about to leave, he spoke up immediately, even trying to get up to grab her. Gu Xiaonuan paused. “I’ll be right back. I have some questions to ask.”
She pressed his shoulder and eased him back down onto the bed.
“Who’s outside?” Lu Yichen murmured sleepily. “Did she come to cause you trouble?”
“No. You sleep first.” Gu Xiaonuan coaxed gently. Still, Lu Yichen refused to close his eyes. Seeing him stubbornly resisting sleep, Gu Xiaonuan sighed, thinking of how recklessly she had just fed on him.
She bent down, imitating something he had done before, but this kiss on his forehead was ice-cold.
On the bed, a light flickered in the depths of Lu Yichen’s dark eyes. Finally, he tugged the quilt and murmured, “…Remember to come back.”
“Okay.”
After saying that, Gu Xiaonuan got up and left the room, closing the door behind her. She looked at the enchanting woman sitting on the living room sofa and obediently stood in front of her. “Why are you here?”
The woman smiled softly. “You’re not exactly likable, but at least you know your place.” Her hand brushed the soft cushion of the sofa. “Xiang Nan sent me to keep an eye on you.”
Gu Xiaonuan was taken aback. “He…isn’t coming back?”
“Something came up unexpectedly. He won’t be back for a while.” The woman stood up and, in the blink of an eye, appeared before Gu Xiaonuan.
She was only a little taller than Gu Xiaonuan, but her presence was overwhelming, making it hard for Gu Xiaonuan to breathe.
Her fingers, adorned with ornate manicured nails and tiny sparkling gems, gently lifted Gu Xiaonuan’s delicate chin. Those dark red eyes stared intently at her.
“As my fee for watching over you, you don’t mind sharing your food with me, do you?”
