“Sherry, she doesn’t look like a Vampire at all.”

A woman with a graceful figure, dressed only in pajamas, sat on the sofa, her curious eyes fixed on Gu Xiaonuan, who sat beside her with a cold expression.

Gu Xiaonuan lowered her gaze, her obedient and quiet demeanor making the woman in pajamas even more curious. Unable to resist, the woman reached out and touched Gu Xiaonuan’s cheek.

“Ah, she really has no warmth. She truly is a Vampire.”

Opposite Gu Xiaonuan, the older Vampire Sherry sat wantonly on a burly man, her fangs withdrawing from somewhere on his body as she turned her head slightly.

“What, are you interested in her?”

“She’s so well-behaved, completely different from any Vampire I’ve ever met.” The woman in pajamas giggled, stretching her neck forward. “Want a taste? I’m quite delicious.”

Gu Xiaonuan sat there and replied coldly, “No need,” shifting her body away.

Sherry got off the man, looking at Gu Xiaonuan with contempt in her eyes. “She’s not worthy of enjoying my food.”

The woman in pajamas shuddered and immediately retreated. Gu Xiaonuan looked up, “Can I go back now?”

“Of course not. I promised Xiang Nan to keep an eye on you, so you have to stay under my watch.” The older Vampire snuggled into the man’s arms like a cat, letting his hands roam over her body.

“Little one, are you worried about your food?”

The thick scent of feeding in the air made Gu Xiaonuan feel a bit dizzy. From what she knew, the Old Man was quite restrained in his feeding compared to his kind.

Most of their kind indulged themselves, just like the one before her.

She had brought two sources of food and practiced the ultimate hedonism in feeding.

“She has food too?” The woman in pajamas sat on the sofa. “Wow, isn’t she the one you said could only gnaw on blood bags, Sherry?”

“She can use her fangs now.” Sherry got up from the man’s arms. “I’ll give you half an hour. We’re heading out.”

Gu Xiaonuan looked up at her. “Why are you taking me with you when you go out?”

“Xiang Nan’s instructions-to keep you within sight at all times.” Sherry narrowed her eyes slightly. “Do you think I want to bring you along?”

Gu Xiaonuan recalled Ji Xiangnan’s instructions before he left, stood up, and went to open the door to leave. Sherry’s voice floated over from behind, “Take your food with you.”

Gu Xiaonuan didn’t respond and walked straight out the door.

Sherry narrowed her eyes. “With your skills, seduce her and let her fangs pierce your skin.”

The woman in pajamas hugged Sherry from behind, gently rubbing her back. “Sherry, she doesn’t seem interested in my blood.”

Suddenly, the woman thought of something, giggled, circled around to face her, and blinked coquettishly. “Can I use some special methods? The kind you’ve tried before.”

Sherry smiled, lifted the woman’s neck, and instantly lowered her head, her fangs sinking in.

“Ah, Sherry.”

The woman trembled, hugging her tightly. “For you, I’m willing to do anything.”

A coldness flashed in the eyes of the older Vampire.

Next door, Gu Xiaonuan walked straight into Lu Yichen’s room. He was sitting at his computer, typing away at his book. Seeing her come in, he gave her a warm smile.

“We’re heading out.” Gu Xiaonuan looked at him. “Change your clothes. We’re leaving soon, together with the ones next door.”

Lu Yichen took off his glasses and quickly stood up. “Next door? That older Vampire? I’m going too?”

Gu Xiaonuan nodded, looking at Lu Yichen’s puzzled face and sighed heavily. “Sorry, I can’t refuse.”

“I’ll be ready in a moment.” Lu Yichen opened his wardrobe, took out a set of clothes, and quickly changed. He put on a short-sleeved, stand-collar shirt that covered his neck completely.

He wore simple cropped pants on the bottom. After a moment’s thought, he put his glasses back on.

“Is this okay?”

The glasses made him look even more gentle and frail. Gu Xiaonuan glanced away from his covered neck, feeling inexplicably happy.
“Mm, okay.” She responded and pushed the door open to leave. Lu Yichen quickly followed. Gu Xiaonuan heard the sound of a door opening next door, and her cold hand reached out.

Lu Yichen, his face slightly flushed, placed his hand over hers.

“Oh my, he’s quite the handsome guy.” The woman in pajamas whom they had seen earlier next door walked over with a cheerful smile, winking at Gu Xiaonuan. “You have good taste.”

The woman extended her hand. “Let’s get to know each other. I’m Su Qingqing, a minor actress active in the entertainment industry.”

Lu Yichen stood beside Gu Xiaonuan, smiling politely. “Lu Yichen, I’m a writer.”

Su Qingqing looked at her own hand left hanging and retracted it with a smile. “You’re being kept on a tight leash, aren’t you?”

Gu Xiaonuan gazed at her. Su Qingqing had changed into a long dress, looking pure and elegant, completely different from how she looked earlier in just pajamas.

Around her neck, she wore a white lace choker, cleverly hiding the bite marks beneath it.

“Let’s go, Qingqing.”

Sherry stepped out of her room in high heels, her figure-hugging outfit showing off her curves to the fullest.

Su Qingqing nodded with a smile and followed her into the elevator. Gu Xiaonuan pulled Lu Yichen into the elevator as well.

The elevator was spacious enough, but there was a subtle distance between them. Su Qingqing glanced at Gu Xiaonuan’s ever-unwavering expressionless face, and suddenly moved closer.

As her warm body approached, Gu Xiaonuan instinctively moved into Lu Yichen’s embrace.

Su Qingqing seemed to discover something, her eyes lighting up. “So it’s not that you don’t like it, you’re just not used to being nervous, huh?”

“Don’t like what?”

Lu Yichen wrapped an arm around Gu Xiaonuan’s shoulders, his dark eyes smiling at Su Qingqing. Why hasn’t this woman moved away?

“My blood, of course. I believe my taste is pretty good.” Su Qingqing said with a grin, “Sherry likes me best.”

Lu Yichen’s brow twitched almost imperceptibly, but he kept his gentle smile. “Oh really?”

“Want to try? I promise you’ll be hooked.”

Su Qingqing winked at Gu Xiaonuan. “Don’t you want to know what it’s like to drink a woman’s blood?”

“My master doesn’t need to.”

As Lu Yichen spoke, he shielded Gu Xiaonuan’s face with his hand. “I’m confident I can satisfy her.”

He could feel the small, cold hand holding his trembling slightly.

Lu Yichen really wanted to kick the two women out of the elevator and pull the little Vampire in his arms even closer, to press his lips to the fangs in her mouth.

“Is that so? What a pity. Don’t you get tired of drinking the same person’s blood all the time?” Su Qingqing stepped back. “If you change your mind, come find me.”

Lu Yichen’s smile didn’t waver. “Doesn’t your master mind you flirting with other Vampires right in front of her?”

Su Qingqing giggled, “Oh, you must be new to being food, acting so loyal.”

The elevator reached the underground parking lot. Sherry, who had remained silent, strode out in her high heels, and Su Qingqing followed with a smile.

Lu Yichen was about to leave too, but Gu Xiaonuan gently tugged his hand. He turned back and saw those dark eyes tinged with red, and a faint blush on her cheeks.

Her cold fingers tightened around his hand.

“I only want you.”

Lu Yichen stared at her blankly, understanding that she was explaining herself, resisting the temptation from another food source.

Awkward, direct, making his heart churn violently.

Lu Yichen pulled her into his arms, lowered his handsome face, and pressed his thin lips to hers.

A gentle touch, then his lips shifted, pressing a kiss to the spot of the Cross Mark on her neck.

“I’ll remember that. No take-backs.”
