Feed Me, Husband - Chapter 47
Deleted? How could Xiang Kaixi have deleted Lu Yichen?
Gu Xiaonuan looked at Lu Yichen by the door. “Xiang Kaixi was chasing after you so persistently before, and now she actually deleted you?”
Lu Yichen tapped his phone screen. “Yeah, she deleted me. I don’t know why either. But it’s fine-it’s actually better this way. Having her around was making me irritable.”
He gave his phone a gentle shake. “I’m heading next door first, there’s a discussion about the new book.”
Gu Xiaonuan nodded. Sitting in front of her computer, she pondered Xiang Kaixi’s actions. Human emotions… can they really withdraw so quickly?
Gu Xiaonuan scrolled through Xiang Kaixi’s Moments. Anything related to Lu Yichen had been wiped clean, as if she hadn’t been the one chasing after him just a few days ago.
Buzz buzz.
A message came in on her phone. It was from Ji Xiangnan.
“Coming back tomorrow.”
Gu Xiaonuan stared at the message, unsure how to respond. In the end, she only replied with three words.
“Got it.”
The Old Man’s first order of business upon returning would be to confirm that Lu Yichen was his food. Gu Xiaonuan stared at the words of Lu Yichen’s novel on the screen, her hand sliding the mouse a few times.
In front of so many of their kind, the Old Man would bite down.
Bite down… Ji Xiangnan’s fangs would pierce Lu Yichen’s body.
She didn’t know why, but the more she pictured this scene, the more agitated she became.
All afternoon, Gu Xiaonuan sat in front of her computer, not taking in a single word.
Outside, the aroma of food drifted in. Lu Yichen didn’t like takeout; he preferred to cook for himself. Smelling the food, Gu Xiaonuan pushed open the door and walked out.
The range hood was on. He was over six feet tall, wearing an apron as he moved around the kitchen.
Gu Xiaonuan walked silently, just standing at the side watching.
All the ingredients and dishes were prepared with care, and the kitchen wasn’t messy at all. She had no idea how his cooking tasted, since she couldn’t taste anything herself.
“Interested?” Lu Yichen turned around and saw Gu Xiaonuan standing there. “If you want to try some, sit here and wait for me. It’ll be ready soon.”
Gu Xiaonuan responded with a soft “Mm” and sat down at the bar counter.
Her eyes lingered on Lu Yichen’s back. The apron was tied around his waist, accentuating his waistline. His back was a perfect inverted triangle, and his legs were long.
Where would the Old Man bite him? The neck?
Gu Xiaonuan looked at his fair neck. Food… She pictured Ji Xiangnan opening his mouth to bite, and suddenly stood up.
Annoyed-mostly at herself.
“I’m going out for a bit.” Gu Xiaonuan didn’t give Lu Yichen any time to react. She pushed open the door and slipped out. In just a few seconds, she was gone.
Lu Yichen turned off the range hood, carried his food to the bar, and glanced at the blinking red dot on his phone, letting out a soft chuckle.
He ate slowly and methodically, watching as the red dot on the screen began to move.
Ji Xiangnan would be back tomorrow, and his little Vampire was finally reacting.
Watching the red dot circle around, Lu Yichen smiled. His little Vampire was very well-behaved-even in her agitation, she didn’t run off too far.
The red dot circled the residential complex where Ji Xiangnan’s property was located several times. By the time Lu Yichen finished eating and had even cleaned up the dishes, Gu Xiaonuan had returned.
She pushed open the door, and a strong smell of alcohol rushed in. Lu Yichen frowned slightly, noticing the beer can still in her hand.
“Hic.” Gu Xiaonuan let out a drunken burp and casually crushed the can in her hand to pieces.
She stared at Lu Yichen, “You’d better wash yourself thoroughly.”
Lu Yichen walked up to her and, with a strong motion, picked her up in his arms. “I don’t understand what you’re saying. Why did you go out drinking? Do you know how dangerous that is?”
“Dangerous? I’m a Vampire. What could possibly be dangerous for me?”
Gu Xiaonuan was held in his arms, her hand clutching the collar of his pajamas. “Did you hear me? Wash yourself thoroughly.”
Lu Yichen inhaled the heavy scent of alcohol on her and sighed. He was about to carry her back to the bedroom when Gu Xiaonuan suddenly spoke, “Put me down.”
He set her down on the sofa, kneeling on one knee in front of her. “Xiao Nuan, I shower every day. I promise I’m very clean.”
Her hand finally let go of his collar. Gu Xiaonuan responded with a hum and pushed him. Maybe she was drunk, because she didn’t control her strength at all.
Bang!
Lu Yichen was shoved onto the sofa opposite, nearly sinking into it completely.
Just as he was about to get up, a sudden gust of wind swept by, and Gu Xiaonuan was already in front of him, her cold body pressing him further into the cushions.
“…Xiao Nuan.”
Lu Yichen called out, and in the next second, he was lifted up by his collar. Gu Xiaonuan stared at him, “Where does the Old Man bite you? Your neck?”
Lu Yichen watched as her hand reached up. “The Old Man likes to bite the inside of the thigh, and he also likes the spot over the chest.”
Her bold little hand slipped under his pajamas and touched him. Lu Yichen’s breath caught. “How do you know that?”
Gu Xiaonuan curled her lips, her hand withdrawing from under his pajamas. “He told me. I just don’t like it.”
“Then where do you like to bite me? My neck?”
His hand gently stroked her back. The drunken her was bold and direct, making it impossible for him to look away.
Gu Xiaonuan narrowed her eyes, staring at his thin lips, her hand reaching up to touch them. “I like it here.”
Lu Yichen kissed her fingertips softly. “Only here?”
She cupped Lu Yichen’s face, her breath heavy with alcohol as she leaned in.
“And… here.”
Her fangs emerged from her mouth and pierced his earlobe.
Lu Yichen’s body trembled lightly, and his face quickly flushed red.
Her tongue gently licked the wound on his earlobe. Lu Yichen panted softly, his hand moving to her waist. “Xiao Nuan, wait…”
“Lu Yichen.” Her voice was soft and sweet, yet carried an unmistakable chill. “Will you fall in love with the Old Man’s fangs?”
Seeing he didn’t answer, Gu Xiaonuan’s hand slipped into his hair, pressing his head toward her.
In his eyes, a misty sheen began to form. Gu Xiaonuan wondered if he was about to cry again.
Her cold red lips pressed against him, kissing his trembling eyelashes.
“Don’t cry… Don’t cry.”
Gu Xiaonuan murmured, “I’ll stay with you to the end, just a few decades.”
Lu Yichen said nothing. After a few kisses, Gu Xiaonuan’s small body slumped and fell into his arms.
He looked at the drunken Gu Xiaonuan in his embrace, gently pulling aside her collar, and his warm lips kissed the spot where the Cross Mark appeared.
A few decades would never be enough for him.”
