Just as I was about to resign myself to fate, several strands of Psychic Power surged into my brain, lighting up the first node.

The eggshell cracked!

A bright world came into view.

I flew away from the fire on trembling wings, looking at the astonished male and female leads.

Su Rou reached out her hand, trying to grab me. “Huh? Wasn’t this a dead egg? How could it…”

“I’m alive. You almost killed me.”

I could understand her logic, but that didn’t mean I could remain indifferent when faced with death.

Beside her, Lin Jun fell into deep thought.

He looked at my golden body and frowned. “Are you a Bee Tribe cub?”

No, this color-

Lin Jun’s eyes suddenly widened. He scooped Su Rou up into his arms, transformed into his white tiger form, and bolted toward the exit. “Run! She’s a Queen Bee!”

There is only ever one Queen Bee in the Bee Tribe, and all the Drone Bees guard their Queen.

Only the Royal Lineage possessed a color that shone like gold.

There are many races among the Stellar Beastfolk. The males possess powerful combat capabilities, but they require the Psychic Power of a female to soothe them, or they will fall into a frenzy.

But the Bee Tribe was the most unique.

They would only accept soothing from their Queen; otherwise, they would rather die than compromise.

And after the upheaval a century ago, a Queen Bee had never appeared in the Bee Tribe again.

If this group of powerful, fanatical, and unreasonable fighters found out that someone had tried to roast their most precious treasure…

Su Rou didn’t understand the gravity of the situation. She struggled out from under Lin Jun’s paws, her eyes sparkling as she pointed at me.

“This Queen Bee is so pretty. Can you catch her and give her to me as a pet?”

Me: “…” I was a little scared, but not much.

Because I could already hear a chorus of buzzing.

Their Psychic Power couldn’t wait to brush against my body.

It felt familiar, burning, and powerful.

The next second, I fell into a pair of broad, strong arms.

This red-haired, long-eared male from the Bee Tribe held me carefully against his chest, his hands trembling slightly. His voice carried a trace of lingering fear that he couldn’t hide.

“Adair has arrived late…”

Then, he looked coldly at Lin Jun and Su Rou. “You want to… kidnap my Your Majesty?”

Adair made no effort to hide his killing intent, even though there was a delicate female standing opposite him.

What did a female of the Rabbit Clan have to do with the Bee Tribe?

Lin Jun could have fought Adair to a draw on his own, but the problem was that he had to protect Su Rou. He could only dodge the Fire-Poison Bee Stings raining down from the sky in a pathetic scramble.

Su Rou screamed in a mix of grievance and fear, “Stop fighting! Can’t we just sit down and talk? I didn’t know this Queen Bee egg was still alive, otherwise I wouldn’t have wanted to roast it!”

Lin Jun: …He had a headache.

Nestled in the warm chest, I whispered my grievance: “I almost never got to see you guys.”

Upon hearing this, Adair’s fury intensified.

To make matters worse.

The surrounding space was torn open, and a male beastman with long blue hair stepped out from within.

The tattered half-wing on his back flapped incessantly as he looked around anxiously, his gaze finally landing on me.

“Your Majesty…”

Retracting his fanatical gaze, Miller put on an elegant smile and raised his hand, waving it toward Su Rou-

“If I heard correctly, this lady from the Rabbit Clan intended to harm the only female cub of our Bee Tribe and then provoke a racial war, is that right?”

After speaking, he looked at me with eyes as gentle as water. He held out a bottle of ice-blue Nectar and said softly:

“Your Majesty, would you like to come to Miller? Adair is too useless; I should be the one to serve you.”

I glanced at the male and female leads, who were frozen like wooden statues not far away, then smelled the tempting fragrance of the Nectar. I shifted my body and reached out my arms. “Hold!”

A wise person submits to circumstances-and food!

Adair jumped in frustration, but out of consideration for me, he could only suppress his anger. “Miller, you stinking rat from the gutters! Your Psychic Power is still in a state of riot. Can you take responsibility if you accidentally hurt Your Majesty!”

I was already eating the Nectar from Miller’s finger, licking it with relish. I felt my weak body gaining strength and ignored their bickering.

The blue-haired beastman’s breathing hitched as he watched me lick his finger.

Almost greedily, he lightly touched my round, golden body.

“No member of the Bee Tribe would ever hurt their most precious treasure.”

-The light that appeared when they were at their most desperate, most painful, and facing total darkness.
