“Who’s in there!” A rough voice shouted through the door, followed by another heavy crash as it was forced open again.

A deep hostility brewed in Su Sheng’s eyes. After pulling Hua Suihe up from the ground, black mist darted out like a dancing serpent, wrapping itself around the hulking figure. With a sharp tug, the man-built like a small mountain-crashed to the ground.

It all happened so quickly that Hua Suihe, standing nearby, couldn’t comprehend how the giant, over two meters tall, had fallen.

Su Sheng planted a foot on the man’s back and gripped one end of the black mist in her hand. Instantly, the mist condensed into a black chain, tightening around his neck. In moments, the man, now immobilized, turned red in the face, looking as if he would suffocate at any second.

“Ye Zi!” Hua Suihe placed her hand over Ye Zi’s hand, and with her other hand, she grabbed the black chain, trying to stop her.

The chain, when touched, quivered shyly like a living creature, instinctively loosening its hold.

Su Sheng raised her eyelids, murderous intent still lingering in her eyes as she fixed Hua Suihe with a dark stare.

Catching his breath, the man still tried to struggle, but the foot on his back was like the Five Finger Mountain-no matter how hard he tried, it was useless. Infuriated, he shouted, “How dare you trespass in my office! I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you all!”

Yi Shuang and Fang Ge came over. “Are you the director?”

“What do you want!” At this moment, the director wished nothing more than to go mad and slaughter these audacious humans. But he had no idea who was holding him down from behind. He couldn’t even transform-he was just like an ordinary human, pinned down like a dog.

Hua Suihe released the chain and gave him a harsh kick. “You got here just in time.”

Yi Shuang crouched in front of him, grabbed a handful of his short hair and yanked his head back, staring impassively into his wide, bulging eyes.

“Since there’s no way we can publish all this evidence of your crimes online in a short time, let’s just catch the biggest criminal, make him confess, record it, and upload the video. That’s much faster than posting all the evidence.”

“Exactly!” Fang Ge caught on quickly. Even though the dungeon required them to upload all the pet medical records and medication contracts for exposure, the core was to reveal the evil deeds of the pet hospital. There was simply too much information to upload it all, but exposing the mastermind would have the same effect.

“Confess? Confess to what?” The man’s expression twisted, his mouth spewing madness: “You humans all deserve to die! I want to eat you! Eat you all!”

Hua Suihe ignored him, picked up her phone, turned on the camera, and aimed it at him. “Is there any way to make him talk?”

The black chain in Su Sheng’s hand sprouted a hook and silently drove it into the man’s throat.

Yi Shuang glanced at the points shop. “We can use points to exchange for a truth-telling item.”

“What’s wrong with eating a little meat…”

A faint voice came from the floor. Hua Suihe paused, then adjusted the phone camera to focus on him.

“I just love meat! Normally I can’t eat human flesh, so can’t I at least eat a few animals?” The director’s emotions broke down, and before the truth-telling item was even used, he’d already blurted it all out.

Yi Shuang gave Su Sheng a discreet look. It felt great to have such a powerful NPC lending a hand-they could even do this.

“If you want to blame someone, blame those idiots! They just keep sending fat, juicy food here. Once it’s sent here, it’s all mine!”

“I don’t just eat the meat. I strip the fur, teeth, and bones. Some I sell, and if any are especially beautiful, I keep them for myself. What’s wrong with that?”

“To keep those animals, I even have to buy fake medicine to fool humans. I spent money-can’t I get it back from them?”
The man whose nerves had been pried open spilled everything; for the first time, Hua Suihe caught the scent of blood in his words, eerily similar to the stench on the third floor, and she couldn’t help but retch.

After recording a five-minute video, Hua Suihe put away her phone and walked over to the only computer connected to the internet. She transferred the video from her phone to the computer, then uploaded it online.

But now, with less than ten minutes to six o’clock, it probably wouldn’t gain much traction. Hua Suihe didn’t have a cent to her name, so she couldn’t pay to boost its reach.

“This is all I can do.”

[Congratulations, player Hua Suihe, for clearing the level! You have received a clearance reward of 3,000 points. Due to your outstanding performance in the instance, you have been named Best New Player and awarded an additional 1,000 points. Please keep up the good work!]

“Eh? I got the success notification.” Hua Suihe clicked to refresh the video views, only to see a single view-her own. Could she really succeed like this?

Hearing Hua Suihe’s words, Su Sheng instinctively glanced at her nervously, truly afraid she might vanish into thin air the next second.

“Me too!” Fang Ge jumped up excitedly, and as she finished speaking, she disappeared into thin air.

At the same time, Yi Shuang, who hadn’t spoken, also vanished.

Hua Suihe heard Fang Ge’s voice and was about to smile and congratulate everyone, but when she turned around, both of them were gone. Her smile froze at the corners of her mouth, leaving only bewilderment in her eyes.

“Where did they go?”

“Just disappeared into thin air?”

Hua Hua looked at Su Sheng, and at the big guy lying quietly on the floor, who had at some point stopped talking. Now, only the three of them remained in the room.

Su Sheng realized the two players had vanished, while Hua Hua was still there. Overjoyed, she released the chains and the person at her feet, rushed over to Hua Hua, and hugged her tightly.

“Hua Hua! Hua Hua didn’t leave! Hua Hua loves me!” The black mist around her, infected by her joy, surged out to wrap Hua Suihe tightly.

Hua Suihe was squeezed so tightly she could barely breathe, still confused about the two people who had disappeared from the room.

“Wait… Loosen up a bit…”

The person in her arms was real. Su Sheng nestled against her neck, kissing and nuzzling, her voice as sticky as candy wrapped in velvet, “Hua Hua is so good~ Hua Hua treats me so well~”

Such enthusiasm was a bit overwhelming in the current situation. Hua Suihe pushed at her head, “There are still things we haven’t dealt with.”

That big guy lying there might not be moving, but they couldn’t just assume he was dead.

Su Sheng reluctantly loosened her grip, but the joy in her red eyes was impossible to hide.

“Let’s go, Hua Hua. I’ll go issue tasks to the players, clock out at eight sharp, and go home with Hua Hua~” Su Sheng, full of excitement, dragged her toward the door, kicking aside anyone in the way without a care for their fate.

Hua Suihe glanced back at the messy office and the half-dead director, “Don’t we need to clean up a bit?”

“No need, someone will come to handle it.”

Hua Suihe dazedly replied, and as she calmed down, she realized why the two had suddenly disappeared.

The game was cleared, so of course they were teleported home.

As for why she hadn’t been sent away, it was because she wasn’t originally from the game world, so there was no program to send her home.

If she couldn’t go to her own home, then she’d just go home with her wife.
