Novel Info

The game task given by the system was actually assigned to her by Ye Susheng. The last time she received a quest from Ye Susheng was outside the screen, so it felt a bit strange now.

After all, it was a daily quest, and quite simple.

Hua Suihe recalled the players she met last night. It seemed their game system provided them with more information, such as the game rules and the number of players online, whereas her own system was extremely concise-never offering more than the bare minimum.

This led her to feel little sense of involvement in the Yu Sheng Troupe’s instance game.

After assigning the final quest to the last player, Ye Susheng returned to a relaxed state, walked out from behind the counter on the left, and naturally took Hua Suihe’s hand.

Ye Susheng gently squeezed her palm and asked, “Hua Hua, did you just say you had a nightmare? What did you dream about?”

“Yes!” Hua Suihe replied earnestly. “I just dreamed…”

Her expression froze. What did she dream about?

The content of the dream had already grown blurry-she only remembered it was a frightening dream.

She met Ye Susheng’s gaze, slow and puzzled. “I don’t remember, but it was really scary.”

“Then don’t think about it.” Ye Susheng lifted her hand to softly pat the top of Hua Suihe’s smooth hair. “Let’s go home. I’ll cook for you, Hua Hua.”

Hua Suihe didn’t dwell on it, beaming as she followed her out. “Okay, let’s go~”

They took the bus back to their small wooden house. The clock on the wall showed exactly eight o’clock-remarkably punctual.

Hua Suihe picked up her pajamas and went to shower.

As soon as Ye Susheng entered the house, her outfit refreshed: a black qipao, with a fine golden chain winding around her waist, accentuating her graceful figure; her hair gently braided to the side, with a white jade hairpin whose pendant swayed lightly as she walked-like a classical beauty stepped out of a painting.

Even her cooking movements were elegant and dignified.

After showering and washing her hair, Hua Suihe wore a plain white camisole nightdress, her body enveloped in warm steam. She rubbed her hair with a dry towel, but when she saw Ye Susheng’s exquisite appearance, she stopped instinctively, her clear black-and-white almond eyes wide open, standing there blankly, a bit like a tousled puppy.

It was the first time she felt she needed to manage her image even at home.

The contrast was simply too stark.

“Hua Hua, come eat~”

Ye Susheng wiped the water from her hands, brought a bowl of freshly cooked noodles to the table, heaping it with plenty of side dishes-colorful, fragrant, and appetizing.

She had already pulled out a chair, inviting Hua Suihe to sit down, and took the dry towel from Hua Suihe’s head.

Hua Hua, like a pink rose in full bloom, her damp long hair soaking her nightdress, skin faintly visible beneath. Standing behind Ye Susheng, from above, one could see the water droplets pooled in her collarbone. Cool, pink strands of hair slipped between Ye Susheng’s fingers, making her reluctant to let go.

Hua Hua’s unique scent wrapped around Ye Susheng, intoxicating and irresistible.

Because Ye Susheng didn’t need to bathe or wash her hair, she was always curious about Hua Hua’s shower routine, but Hua Hua never let her watch.

Although it was a pity, Hua Hua after her bath was like a lotus emerging from clear water-soft, fragrant, inviting both a kiss and a taste.

Ye Susheng was no longer sure if it was hunger or something else.

Every time they finished eating, Hua Suihe’s hair would already be dry. Although this defied common sense, it was simply rationalized as part of the game world’s logic.

Noticing that Ye Susheng still only cooked enough for her and never ate, Hua Suihe asked, “Will you start bringing me love bento from tomorrow?”

Ye Susheng tidied up the kitchenware. “No, tomorrow is a rest day.”

Hua Suihe stood next to her washing the dishes, flicking water from her hands onto Ye Susheng’s hand. “Then what do you like to eat? You never eat with me.”
Ye Susheng paused, her expression unchanged, and replied, “When the time comes, I’ll make the food I like, pack it in a lunchbox, and Hua Hua can just bring it to school for me.”

Ye Susheng calmly explained, “I’m not used to eating what Hua Hua eats.”

“But I can cook, too! Just tell me what you like.”

Ye Susheng pressed her lips together, remaining silent and giving no response.

Seeing this, Hua Suihe thought to herself that the system probably hadn’t programmed Ye Susheng to eat, so it was no wonder she couldn’t answer what she wanted.

“Oh well, that’s fine. You make it and I’ll deliver it to you. You go to school at six every evening and stay until eight in the morning, right?”

“It’s a little different.” Skipping the food topic, Ye Susheng brightened again. “I have to stay at school longer-my shift starts at one in the afternoon.”

Hearing this, Hua Suihe’s heart sank. That meant working nineteen hours a day. Just thinking about it made her feel overwhelmed.

“I see,” Hua Suihe replied, her tone low. It was really hard for Ye Susheng to earn money, while Hua Suihe had been eating and drinking for free and even wanted money for a phone.

She had to go out and find a job to earn money before thinking about the phone again.

After staying up all night, being full made her sleepy. Hua Suihe went straight back to bed.

As soon as she closed her eyes, an arm wrapped around her waist-Ye Susheng lay down beside her.

Hua Suihe immediately turned her head to look at her. She had been here eleven days, and usually had a lot to do during the day, so when Ye Susheng came back, she would get up as well.

This was Ye Susheng’s first time getting into bed. If these two days were rest days, did that mean Ye Susheng would sleep with her at night as well?

Ye Susheng closed her eyes, nestled into Hua Suihe’s hair with a satisfied expression. Other than that, the two did nothing else.

Out of professional habit, Hua Suihe wanted to tease her, but she was simply too tired. She turned over, draped an arm around Ye Susheng’s waist, closed her eyes, and peacefully drifted off to sleep.

In two days, many faint, suggestive red marks appeared on Hua Suihe’s neck.

But Ye Susheng’s exposed skin was smooth as snow, not a single mark left behind.

Hua Suihe hated the refresh mechanism on Ye Susheng. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t get any trace on Ye Susheng to last until the next day.

Although they were very clingy, they had never gone any further.

Because Hua Suihe discovered… Ye Susheng knew absolutely nothing about sex.

Yes, like a blank sheet of paper.

Even when the mood was set, she didn’t know what should happen next.

No matter how wild Hua Suihe felt, she couldn’t bring herself to make a move when faced with Ye Susheng’s clear and innocent eyes-the guilt was just too much.

Every time her desire was stirred, she could only bite her a few times to vent, then pull away, feeling pitiful.

She needed to find an opportunity to teach her about sex.

She couldn’t just share a bed with her wife and keep living such a bland life.

At exactly one in the afternoon, Ye Susheng was instantly refreshed and disappeared. (Here, “refreshed” means she was instantly reset and vanished.)

On days she didn’t bring Hua Suihe along, there was no need to take the bus.

Ye Susheng had made lunch for Hua Suihe, and there was also a packed lunchbox on the table, sealed, probably for insulation.

Hua Suihe wasn’t curious enough to check what kind of food was inside.

After finishing her own lunch, she dawdled a bit, freshened up, put on light makeup, and changed into a white cheongsam to match Ye Susheng’s couple outfit.

She really couldn’t manage any complicated braids on her own, and without a phone to check tutorials, she just pinned all her hair up at the back of her head with a wooden hairpin, letting a few strands fall by her cheeks-simple, but it added to her beauty.

She picked up the lunchbox and went to the bus stop.
