Novel Info

After confessing his identity.

Shen An loved to cling to me.

Whether it was going to or leaving school, after finishing the assignments from the teacher, his gaze would unabashedly linger on me.

Every time I received a love letter,

Shen An would stand coldly to the side, staring at the person. The temperature around us would drop sharply, a chilling aura enveloping the air. Only after I clearly rejected the person and expressed that I already had a boyfriend,

would he return to normal.

Actually, it wasn’t that no one liked him.

That face was indeed attractive.

It was just that his cold, gloomy temperament made people hesitate to approach.

The words “Strangers Keep Away” were almost carved onto his face.

Shen An even rented the apartment opposite mine.

Every Sunday when I went out, no matter how early or late I woke up, as soon as I opened the door, he would be sitting gloomily on the sofa. His dark eyes would immediately light up when he saw me, and he would get up and hug me with a look of grievance.

Of course, this was at my strong insistence.

It was understandable during the day, but at night when I slept, he couldn’t just sit beside me, always watching me with that damp, intense gaze that was impossible to ignore.

“I’ll have nightmares.”

“I’m sorry, I just want to look at you.”

He kissed my cheek, and I stuffed the toothbrush with toothpaste into his hand. He blinked innocently.

After brushing his teeth, he peeled an egg for me, carefully negotiating:

“Can I hold you while we sleep?

“I won’t do anything.

“I really, really like you.”

I pinched his cheek, stopping his daily confessions, and frowned, “Are you an adult, Shen An?”

“I died on my seventeenth birthday.”

“How long ago?”

“Two years ago.”

“Hmm, Shen An, that means you’re a year older than me?”

“Mm-hmm.”

“How did you die?”

“I was ill.”

He didn’t hesitate at all.

Feeling sorry for him, I hugged him.

“Is it okay?” he asked carefully.

I kissed the corner of his aggrieved eyes.

“One month later.”
