When she opened her eyes, she already knew that everything was different.

The furnishings had an ancient style, the scent of the environment was unfamiliar, and most importantly, a little maid dressed in old-fashioned clothes pushed open the door and entered.

Upon seeing her, the maid shouted at the top of her lungs, “Master! Master! Miss is awake!”

Her voice was as loud as a bell.

It made her head buzz, snapping her out of her dazed state in an instant.

She should have died. The last thing she remembered was lying on a hospital bed, listening to the sounds of the rescue machines and the calls of doctors and nurses.

“Ye Guilan! Hold on, you can do it! Ye Guilan!”

Finally, the machine emitted a long beep, and when she opened her eyes again, she was here.

“Bang!”

“Crash!”

It seemed someone outside had fallen, then scrambled up from the ground. The door was flung open as if caught by the wind.

A tall figure rushed in from outside, but his foot caught on the threshold, and he fell face-first to the ground.

Hearing the sound of him hitting the floor, she couldn’t help but frown from her bed; just from the sound, she could tell it hurt.

“Master, Master!”

The little maid who followed him in shouted, trying to help him up. The man on the ground got up by himself; his face was haggard and stubbled, but still handsome.

He staggered to the bedside, his hand trembling as he reached out, wanting to touch the girl lying on the bed.

She stared at the man before her, not knowing where she was, why she was here, or what the maid meant by calling them Master and Miss.

All her senses were drawn to the man in front of her. She propped herself up and sat up from the bed, then threw herself into his arms.

“Daddy… Daddy…”

She called softly, uncontrollable tears streaming from her eyes.

The man she hugged trembled violently, looking at the girl in his arms in disbelief. Though confused, he reached out and held her tightly.

The little maid, seeing this scene, covered her mouth and whimpered before retreating, closing the door behind her.

“Guilan, it makes me so happy that you rely on your father like this, but just now, when you called ‘Daddy,’ which one did you mean?”

The girl in his arms froze. She slowly looked up at the face that should have been familiar but now seemed strange, her voice lost in her throat.

Which daddy…

Her father had passed away in an accident with her mother when she was very young.

“Guilan? Guilan? Guilan!”

The man who looked exactly like her father seemed to be desperately calling her, but she could only hear him faintly. Her body went limp, and she collapsed back onto the bed.

When she opened her eyes again, she thought she would return to where she belonged, but she was still in this room.

The air was thick with the scent of medicine, and her whole body felt heavier and more exhausted than before.

“What… are these!”

Fragments of memories flooded in like snowflakes-a girl with the same face and the same name appeared in all the shards.

But these memories were not hers.

A completely unfamiliar world, unfamiliar people, unfamiliar things.

The broken memories invaded her mind irresistibly, finally merging into complete scenes. Lying on the bed, she stared at the beam above, unable to recover for a long time.

She really had died, but now she had opened her eyes in this body, arriving in this even stranger world.

The door was pushed open. She, lying there, moved her eyes slightly-it was the loud-voiced little maid again.

“Master! Master! Miss is awake again!”

She frowned slightly, her head spinning from the noise. Soon, the man who looked exactly like her father rushed in again-he was the father of this body, named Ye He, a completely different name from her own father’s.

This time, he stepped over the threshold, but in his haste, he lost his balance and banged his waist against the corner of the table.

Seeing him grimace and quickly straighten up, she couldn’t help but twitch the corner of her mouth-it must have hurt.

The man rushed to the bedside, arms slightly open, as if waiting for the girl to throw herself into his arms as before, but what he saw was a slightly cold face.

Ye He awkwardly withdrew his arms. This was their usual way-she had never been close to him.

She looked at her father’s barely concealed disappointment. In the memories, the owner of this body did not have a good relationship with her father.

“Guilan, don’t be angry with your father. Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?”

He asked cautiously, afraid that any word might touch a sore spot.

She looked at her father’s somewhat humble posture, her eyes reddening. Their poor relationship was not because he didn’t love her.
The familial affection she had longed for but never obtained in her previous life seemed to be something the original owner of this body did not know how to cherish.

“…No,” she murmured, forcing back the tears in her eyes.

“It’s my fault. I won’t interfere between you and Liu Ruyu anymore. You can like whoever you want, and whatever you want to give him, I’ll buy it for you.”

The man knelt painfully by the bedside. “Don’t scare me anymore, don’t do anything foolish again. You’re my only daughter. If anything happens to you, what am I supposed to do?”

She, lying on the bed, remained silent. The man reached out to wipe his eyes. “Rest well. I know you don’t want to talk to me. I’ll leave now, I’ll go.”

He stood up, his body swaying slightly, his face haggard and uneasy, but at this moment, he seemed to finally relax.

Watching his figure as he left the room, she, under the covers, slowly clenched her fist.

Two days passed, and this body could already walk freely, without the slightest discomfort. She sat before the mirror, looking at her reflection. How many coincidences had it taken for her to become Ye Guilan once again?

The features were exactly the same, yet her state was completely different from her past self.

This was a girl who had grown up spoiled, with bright and attractive features, rosy and adorable cheeks, and a perfectly curved figure.

Ye Guilan looked away, gazing at the room’s furnishings and decorations-everything was ostentatious and extravagant.

This girl’s aesthetic could be summed up in one word: flamboyant wealth.

But only she had such a style. In the entire Ye Family, apart from her room and herself, her father and this little maid were all normal.

“Miss! Miss!”

The door was pushed open again, and the little maid, as loud as a trumpet, walked in. “Today is Young Master Liu’s birthday banquet!”

The little maid walked to the wardrobe, reached in and searched for a while. “The dress you specially prepared for today, Miss, I’ve kept it safe for you!”

A Seven-Colored Glittering Dress was taken out, with all sorts of strange things dangling from it, covering the entire dress.

Ye Guilan’s temples throbbed a few times. With such taste, seeing too much of it was truly an eyesore.

“And this, it’s the birthday gift Miss has always said she wanted to give to Liu Ruyu.” A small box was handed over by the little maid. “What Master bought must be the best. It will definitely help Miss win Young Master Liu’s favor!”

Looking at the small box in her hand, Ye Guilan’s temples throbbed faintly again.

After a round of dressing up, she was sent out the door. At the gate, the little maid waved with a smile, “Miss, you’ll be fine!”

Ye Guilan pulled an awkward smile. She actually didn’t want to go at all, but after thinking it over, she swallowed back the words.

Although she hadn’t received many memories yet, everything about Liu Ruyu was exceptionally vivid. Miss Ye herself had said that even if she had to crawl, she would crawl to attend his birthday banquet-there was no way she would miss such an occasion.

Looking down at the dress she wore, she lifted the hem and walked forward with difficulty, step by step.

The further she walked, the more serious her expression became. The things dangling from the dress clinked together with every step, making a jingling sound. She felt like a wind chime-the ugliest kind.

Ye Guilan simply stopped in place, looked down at the messy clothes on her body, and snorted through her nose.

She glanced at the small box in her hand, her brows furrowing slightly.

Opening the box, inside was a delicate jade pendant.

She picked it up and examined it. This must be the Spatial Container that Miss Ye had clamored to give Liu Ruyu, according to her memories.

Spatial Container-was it what she thought it was?

Miss Ye had been spoiled since childhood. Her father, Ye He, doted on her without limit, giving her anything she wanted, and Ye He was truly wealthy.

Miss Ye had fallen in love with Liu Ruyu at first sight and had been obsessed with him for years. Though she had a pretty face, she was an empty-headed beauty.

She was passionate about chasing after Liu Ruyu, even going to great lengths to find out all his preferences-she was more fanatical than a crazed fan.

She competed with other girls who liked Liu Ruyu, thinking every day about how to win his favor and make him like her.

Ye Guilan couldn’t help but press her hand to her forehead. So she had spent over ten years of her life doing nothing serious, just chasing after a man.

If you could live your life over again, what would you do?

Ye Guilan looked at the clothes she wore and the Spatial Container in the box.

She reached out, put the Spatial Container into her own pocket, and with a forceful tug, tore off the heavy hem of the dress.

After doing all this, she lifted her chin and strode toward the Liu Family Mansion.

If given another chance, everything from before should be decisively cut off.

Everything that belonged to Miss Ye was already in the past. Now, she was Ye Guilan, and as for Liu Ruyu-he was nothing at all.
