“Hm?” Ye Ranyin looked around, puzzled and wary.

All she saw was a vast expanse of white. Ahead, there was a pond blooming with shimmering water lotuses, and above the pond, a crimson pearl spun slowly, emitting a faint halo as it rotated.

Where was this place? How did she end up here?

Just as she was pondering, a childish voice rang out: “This is the Empress’s Space, created by the Celestial Empress!”

The sudden voice made Ye Ranyin’s beautiful eyes narrow slightly.

She calmly surveyed her surroundings, finding no one else present, which made her even more cautious. Yet her tone remained casual: “Celestial Empress? Empress’s Space? Never heard of it.”

“You, so ignorant! You haven’t even heard of the Celestial Empress of the Nine Heavens Immortal Domain? She nearly became the ruler of the Nine Heavens…”

“Oh? Was she really that powerful?” Ye Ranyin’s skeptical question made the other party stomp in frustration.

“Of course she’s powerful!” The childish voice exclaimed anxiously, “I am an ultra-artifact personally refined by her! In all the world, only the Celestial Empress, the supreme Artifact Refiner, could create such an artifact!”

“You? Ultra-artifact?” Ye Ranyin glanced around the space, raising her brows. “Your true form isn’t that pearl, is it? That’s way too ugly!”

“I’m not!” The childish voice huffed angrily. “Stupid woman, you can’t even recognize me, even though I helped you so many times before, even without my powers restored.”

“Helped me many times?” Ye Ranyin’s expression sharpened. “You are… the Empress Soul Bell?”

“That’s right, it’s me. Being able to awaken me is quite the feat on your part.”

Ye Ranyin fell silent for a moment, her wariness easing considerably.

After all, the Empress Soul Bell had followed her for many years in her previous life, helping her countless times.

“Why did you bring me here?”

After a brief pause, Ye Ranyin decided to get straight to the point.

Upon hearing her question, a ripple passed through the air.

Then, a delicate little boy, only as tall as Ye Ranyin’s knee, appeared out of thin air.

His features were exquisitely carved, his skin crystal clear, looking both adorable and charming, even stunning Ye Ranyin for a moment.

However, the little boy’s expression was somewhat dejected: “Your blood awakened me and formed a contract with me. Haven’t you noticed? You are now my master. Even my life and death are under your control.”
