I turned around and saw a young man, probably in his early twenties, tall and handsome. Looking closer, he seemed somewhat familiar.

Seeing that I didn’t answer, he spoke again: “Uncle Chen called and said you went to the Sheng Family looking for me?”

Only then did I realize that the Uncle Chen he mentioned was probably the person on the business card.

Feeling a bit embarrassed, I scratched my head and glanced at Sheng Yan on the poster, saying:

“Yes, but I’ve already found the person I was looking for.”

“You mean my Uncle?”

I was stunned. “Sheng Yan is your Uncle?”

As he spoke, he took my hand and led me inside.

“Sheng Lai. And you?”

Without thinking, I blurted out, “Song Tao.”

He brought me to a private room on the second floor, so I didn’t have to squeeze in with others in the main hall. The room’s floor-to-ceiling windows offered a view of the entire ceremony stage.

After the host gave a speech, today’s bride and groom appeared slowly under everyone’s gaze.

It was the first time in five years that I saw Sheng Yan again.

He was almost thirty now, but time hadn’t left any trace on his face.

Dressed in a perfectly tailored black suit, he looked even more mature and charming.

If I remembered correctly, his fiancée beside him was the Shen Family’s heiress.

Back then, both families wanted them to marry, but Sheng Yan insisted on being with me, the Cinderella.
