The Gluttonous Girl's Vine Husband - Chapter 1
Chapter 1
“Young Miss, not this week.”
Wenzhou pushed me away with his usual wooden expression.
His face was slightly flushed.
“Is once a week really enough? You smell so good after your shower-isn’t that just an invitation for me to devour you?”
I clung to him like an octopus, rubbing against him playfully.
His body went stiff as a board.
“Why’d you stop pushing me? I knew it!”
“Heh heh!”
I gleefully slid my hands over his abs, nibbling here and there.
The tips of his ears turned a deep, bloody red.
“Gu Qing!”
“I’m serious, we can’t!”
“Why? I don’t believe you.”
Half an hour later, I hummed a happy tune as I headed to the bathroom.
“Liar. You were doing just fine.”
“Playing hard to get, acting all reluctant… clearly, it was just a deliberate seduction.”
I didn’t see him clenching the bedsheets so hard that a tiny sprout grew from his palm, only for him to crush it into oblivion.
The next night.
Wenzhou didn’t come back to the bedroom. He insisted on working in the study until the early hours of the morning.
I waited for him until I fell asleep.
The third day, the fourth day…
He kept dodging me, which made me incredibly annoyed.
People talk about the seven-year itch.
We haven’t even been married for seven weeks and it’s already starting? What’s the future going to look like?
Over the weekend.
I went around to my friends to gather some advice.
I sadly discovered that they were all eating very well, so to speak; they didn’t have to worry about these things at all.
One had a younger, “puppy-dog” husband.
Another had a tanned athlete for a boyfriend.
One even had a high-end male host providing top-tier service.
Just hearing about it was enough to make anyone envious.
My friends tried to comfort me:
“At least you’re not dealing with an old man who’s lost his spice.”
“Besides, your bodyguard husband is already thirty. For men, once they pass twenty-five, they might as well be seventy-five. Being able to have one high-quality session a week isn’t bad.”
“Qingqing, you two finally got married after ten years of secret pining. You should try to be more open-minded.”
“Love can overcome any obstacle.”
“If all else fails, buy some sexy lingerie. Maybe he won’t be able to sit still then.”
I thought they had a point.
That night, I paced back and forth in front of Wenzhou wearing a robe, letting glimpses of the sexy lingerie underneath show.
He took one look, and his nose started bleeding profusely.
Covering his nose, he rushed into the bathroom and didn’t come out for ages.
I stared at the closed glass door, practically burning a hole through it with my gaze. After an unknown amount of time, a vine crept out from the gap under the door.
A vine?!
I wondered if I was hallucinating.
I blinked hard, several times.
It really wasn’t a hallucination!
But there weren’t any plants inside the villa. How could something like this appear?
I crouched down in front of the bathroom door.
I reached out to tug on the protruding vine, my fingers sliding along the leaves toward the base.
“Ngh…”
A barely audible groan drifted out from inside the bathroom.
