Jiang Ci was just about to leave when two groups of people burst into the VIP ward area, blocking her way.

One group was dressed in black, clearly well-trained-they were bodyguards.

The other group looked like street thugs, led by a man with a big gold chain around his neck and rather shabby clothes.

Song Father quickly pulled his own father back, pointing at the black-clad bodyguards. “Are those Cousin’s men?”

Seeing how aggressive they were, he quickly figured it out.

“Looks like Cousin isn’t so willing to donate his kidney to his dad after all. There’s more to this story. Dad, let’s not get involved in their family’s mess. Let’s go see Ranran.”

The father and son ran off, gloating, leaving Jiang Ci to face the two groups alone.

“Jiang Ci, let’s see how you run this time!” The lead black-clad bodyguard shouted angrily.

Just thinking about how their boss had lost a kidney to Young Master Song because of Jiang Ci made them both fearful and furious. They swore they would catch Jiang Ci no matter what!

The other group wasn’t happy about this.

Big Gold Chain said viciously, “Ever heard of first come, first served? This chick hurt my brother-she’s coming with us!”

The black-clad bodyguard glanced at him coldly, full of disdain as he revealed his identity: “I’m a bodyguard of the Song Family from Jiangbei. And you-where did you weeds crawl out from?”

The thugs’ faces changed instantly.

Among the top families in Jiangbei, the Song Family was one of the very best.

Hearing their impressive background, Big Gold Chain immediately put on a flattering smile. “Then you go first, brother. After you’ve dealt with this chick, just hand her over to us.”

“Hmph, a bunch of rabble.” The bodyguard snorted and waved his hand, giving the order, “Catch Jiang Ci!”

The bodyguards charged over, murderous intent in their eyes.

But-

Jiang Ci did something no one could have predicted.

She leapt up and jumped out the window.

Damn, this was the third floor!

With her small frame, wouldn’t she break an arm or a leg?

Everyone rushed over in shock, only to see Jiang Ci already landing steadily on the ground, like a solitary, cold black butterfly, gracefully leaving.

“Shit! Hurry up and chase her!”

By the time they got downstairs, Jiang Ci was nowhere to be seen.

Jiang Ci sat in a taxi, watching the two groups frantically searching for her, a faint smile on her lips.

There were more than twenty of them-she wasn’t stupid enough to waste her energy tangling with them.

Let them run around like rabbits, desperate to find her. If they failed, they’d get scolded and beaten.

As for why two groups suddenly came looking for her-

She did a quick calculation and figured someone had tipped them off, trying to make sure she’d be left with nowhere to go.

“Where to, miss?”

Jiang Ci calmly gave the Jiang Family’s address.

In Hell, the mouths of informers are sewn shut so tight that not a whisper escapes.

In the hospital room-

Song Father was on the phone, contacting a top medical team.

Song Youlin kept watch by his granddaughter’s bedside. “Ranran, Grandpa almost got tricked by that lunatic Jiang Ci. Thank goodness I didn’t hurt you! You must hold on, Ranran. Even if I have to search the whole world, I’ll find the best doctor for you.”

“Sigh!” Song Ran’s Soul sat atop her body, then slowly lay down.

Her Soul and body gradually fused together.

Ten minutes later-

Song Ran’s fingers moved.

Her eyelids fluttered.

“Ranran!” Song Youlin called out excitedly.

Song Ran slowly opened her eyes. Looking at her tearful grandfather and relieved father, she said bluntly, “Grandpa, Dad, you’ve completely offended Lady Jiang.”

“Lady Jiang?”

“Lady Jiang. Didn’t you drive her away? Grandpa still owes her sixty-five hundred.”
Song Youlin and Song Father were both stunned for a moment.

After all, their daughter had been unconscious for so long, there was no way she could know that Jiang Ci had come by.

Could it be that the two of them had already conspired together in advance?

Seeing the suspicious look on her grandfather and father’s faces again, Song Ran understood that a person’s inner prejudice is hard to change. Unless they experience it themselves, no matter how much others explain, there will always be a trace of doubt in their hearts.

But she didn’t care whether they believed her or not. Whatever needed to be said, she would say it.

“Just now, I was standing right next to Lady Jiang the whole time. You just couldn’t see me.”

“Lady Jiang is not a fraud. She truly can communicate with Yin-Yang.”

“If Lady Jiang hadn’t mercifully saved me, I would never have woken up again.”

“You will definitely regret this. I hope that one day you will come to your senses and personally kneel before Lady Jiang to apologize…”

As Song Ran finished speaking,

their faces grew uglier and uglier. To them, what did it mean for someone who had just woken up to say such things?

It meant the two had already conspired and prepared their story in advance!

Song Father scolded with a dark expression, “Your grandfather already told me. Jiang Ci said you’d become famous in the future. So you two planned all this just to scare me, didn’t you! Song Ran, you really think you’re grown up now!”

“Let me make this clear today: even if you die again, I will never agree to let you become an actress! No matter who you get to put on a show, it won’t work!”

Song Father slammed the table in anger.

Song Youlin looked helplessly at his granddaughter. “Ranran, you’ve gone too far this time. How could you team up with outsiders to deceive your own family, even using death to threaten us? Do you know how worried your father and I were about you!”

“You mustn’t be so reckless and willful in the future.”

Song Ran: “…”

She was so devastated, so hopeless that even living felt difficult.

Yet in the eyes of her grandfather and father, she was just being willful and causing trouble.

Ever since her mother passed away, only Lady Jiang had truly cared for her.

Song Ran silently turned away and wiped her tears.

Yes, she had promised Lady Jiang she would try her best to live bravely.

She wouldn’t cry!

She had to get better quickly so she could go see Lady Jiang.

Meanwhile, at the Jiang Family.

The thugs blocking the door had mostly dispersed, leaving only one or two lurking around.

Jiang Ci got out of the car.

The two thugs squatted in the corner, eating sunflower seeds. Seeing her slender figure and snow-white skin, they whistled at her with lewd, mocking eyes.

“Hey, beauty, don’t go! Come over and have some fun?”

Jiang Ci ignored them and went straight into the villa.

“Doesn’t she look kind of familiar?” The two finally realized and pulled out the photo from their pockets. It was Jiang Ci.

In the living room,

Jiang Wan and the servants were frantically carrying Jiang Fu to the sofa.

“Daddy, I’ve already followed your instructions and gone to find that miracle doctor. I’m sure we’ll find her soon.”

Jiang Fu whimpered with his mouth open, signaling that she’d done well, but drool kept flowing out.

Jiang Wan patiently wiped him clean and put a bib on him.

“Abba… Abba…” Jiang Fu wanted to ask if Jiang Ci had been found.

“Someone went to look for her. She should have been taken away by now.”

As soon as she finished speaking,

Bang! A loud crash!

The front door was kicked open.

Under their shocked and uneasy gazes, Jiang Ci strolled in slowly.

“Abba Abba Abba!!”

Seeing her, Jiang Fu looked as if he’d seen an Evil Ghost, his face turning deathly pale, and he immediately lost control of his bladder and bowels again.
