Jiang Ci drove to the Peach Grove that Grandma Hao had mentioned.

The Peach Grove covered several acres and was quite large.

“Thank you for lending me your car. Take care, I won’t see you off,” Jiang Ci said politely to Song Ran.

Song Ran replied cautiously, “I don’t have anything to do when I go back. Why don’t I stay and help you, ma’am?”

“You?”

“Yes!” Song Ran nodded obediently. “We’re looking for Peach Trees that have been struck by lightning, right? I can help find them!”

Seeing her enthusiasm, Jiang Ci didn’t refuse again. “Alright, then I’ll trouble you.”

The two split up and began searching for Peach Wood suitable for making a Peach Wood Sword.

Jiang Ci needed a handy magical weapon to deal with the Green Fiend Evil Child. Peach Wood wards off Evil, and if it’s been struck by lightning, it works even better. With her specially crafted Talisman Array, capturing the Evil Child shouldn’t be a problem.

As she ventured deeper into the Peach Grove, she suddenly heard voices.

She approached and saw several people standing under a Peach Tree not far ahead. Among them, a familiar figure caught her attention.

When he turned around, Jiang Ci’s expression instantly darkened.

“Bo… Hanzhou!”

Bo Hanzhou was discussing the development of this area with his subordinates. He turned his head and saw Jiang Ci running toward him.

“Jiang Ci?”

He was stunned.

Wasn’t she supposed to be receiving treatment at the psychiatric hospital?

How did she manage to climb over the wall and chase him all the way here?

Bang!

Jiang Ci dashed over and delivered a swift and beautiful spinning kick at him.

Bo Hanzhou was kicked in the face and nearly went flying!

“Young Master Bo!”

The men in suits panicked and rushed to help him.

Bo Hanzhou stared at her in disbelief, a muddy footprint now stamped on his handsome face.

“Are you alright?”

“Are you alright? How shameless can you be, sending me to a psychiatric hospital?” Jiang Ci shot him a cold glance.

The others stifled their laughter: “…”

Such a devious move really did seem like something Young Master Bo would do.

Bo Hanzhou glanced indifferently at the group.

They quickly got the hint and retreated: “Young Master Bo, we’ll go inspect the area over there first.”

“I thought your condition was serious. What, are you planning to give up treatment?” He took out a handkerchief and calmly wiped the mud off his face. “Chi Che may be unreliable as a person, but his medical skills are good. He can cure your schizophrenia.”

Jiang Ci’s face darkened. “Which ear of yours heard me say I was sick?”

“Both ears heard it, and my eyes saw it too.”

Bo Hanzhou smiled. “There’s no shame in being ill. The shame is in refusing to admit it.”

Jiang Ci’s eyes grew cold as she gritted her teeth. “Oh, I get it now. So your disaster of blood isn’t caused by the Little Ghost-it’s because I’m going to beat you to death!”

Her delicate fist clenched and swung through the air!

But this time, Bo Hanzhou reacted quickly, grabbing her slender wrist. A roguish smile appeared on his handsome face. “Third time’s the charm. You’ve already hit me twice-still want to hit me again?”

He was much stronger than her.

His long, powerful fingers gripped her wrist tightly, as if he could snap it with just a bit more force.

Jiang Ci forced a smile. “You deserved it.”

“Oh?” Bo Hanzhou leaned down, his beautiful phoenix eyes narrowing slightly as he drew closer, carefully examining the scar on her face. His gaze shifted upward, meeting her eyes.

“You seem normal again now.”

“Jiang Ci, I have no ill will toward you. I really just saw you as a pitiful homeless girl.”

Jiang Ci’s eyes darkened. “A pitiful homeless girl-isn’t that you? Living under someone else’s roof isn’t easy, is it? So you think everyone you meet is just as miserable as you?”
As soon as the words fell, Bo Hanzhou’s expression turned dark and gloomy.

The grip on her wrist tightened considerably.

“Do you have a death wish?”

He was smiling, but the smile didn’t reach his eyes. His gaze was as deep and foreboding as the eve of a storm.

Jiang Ci laughed.

Suddenly, she lifted her leg high and kicked him hard in the groin.

Bo Hanzhou’s pupils contracted sharply: “!!!”

An indescribable pain spread through him.

He instantly let go of her hand, bent over, and turned his back.

“I’ve never needed anyone to act against my will under the guise of doing what’s best for me. When you look down on me, you’re also disrespecting me. So why should I respect you?”

Jiang Ci spoke in a cold tone.

She hadn’t lost anything from spending a night in the psychiatric hospital, but she really hated being deceived and toyed with.

He had clearly promised to listen to her and go to the Incense and Candle Shop, but when she let her guard down and fell asleep, he turned around and sent her to the psychiatric hospital instead.

That feeling of being stabbed in the back after trusting someone made Jiang Ci extremely annoyed.

So even if he did it for her own good, she still had to beat him up to vent her anger.

“Jiang Ci, you-” Bo Hanzhou turned around, only to find Jiang Ci had already walked far away.

His dark eyes stared at her back, flickering with emotion, his teeth grinding in anger: “You heartless girl! Of all places to kick, you had to kick there. Are you trying to make sure I never have children?”

An hour later, Bo Hanzhou returned home.

The first thing he did was call Chi Che from next door.

Chi Che saw him limping and thought something serious had happened.

“Did you fall?” he asked, trying to hold back his laughter.

Bo Hanzhou gave him a long look: “Why did Jiang Ci get discharged?”

“You ran into her?” Chi Che’s sharp eyes noticed the swelling on Bo Hanzhou’s cheek, and he was instantly shocked as if he’d discovered a new continent. “Holy crap, did she beat you up?!”

“Hahahahahaha! The mighty Young Master Bo of Jiangbei actually got beaten up, hahahahaha…”

Chi Che burst out laughing, clutching his stomach and rolling around on the sofa.

Bo Hanzhou’s face remained impassive as he reached under the coffee table and pulled out a gun, loaded it swiftly, and aimed it at Chi Che.

Chi Che’s laughter froze: “…”

“Speak. Why was she discharged?”

Chi Che sat up straight and answered meticulously, “After our hospital’s examination, Jiang Ci is not ill. She’s a normal person.”

A layer of coldness appeared in Bo Hanzhou’s eyes, clearly dissatisfied with this answer.

“Jiang Ci wasn’t admitted voluntarily. According to regulations, unless she’s so insane she can’t control herself, we can only admit her by force.” Chi Che said with a bitter face, “Master Bo, please hold the gun steady, don’t let it go off by accident!”

Bo Hanzhou put down the gun thoughtfully.

Chi Che breathed a sigh of relief and quickly grabbed it to take a look.

His mouth twitched hard.

“A toy gun???”

“Damn, you’re trying to scare people with a toy gun?”

“And it even squirts water!”

Bo Hanzhou’s handsome face broke into a righteously dignified smile: “Guns are banned in our country. I’m a law-abiding citizen.”

Chi Che: “…”

Damn it, when you were carrying a Gatling gun and firing away overseas, why didn’t you say you were a good person?

“Master Bo, remember to lock your doors and windows tight and cover up well when you sleep tonight.”

Chi Che said through gritted teeth.

Because who knows, Jiang Ci might really summon a bunch of ghosts to party at his house!
