Li Xin almost thought he’d misheard!

However, Hao Jingye and Song Linwei were both looking at him. Even if he was slow, Li Xin knew now was the time to stand united. Gritting his teeth, he squeezed out two words: “Yes.”

Sheng An spread her hands. “See, it’s your problem.”

Behind Qiu Yu, a tall, burly man frowned, wanting to speak.

Song Linwei happened to look back, his pupils contracting as he shouted, “Watch out!”

Sheng An leapt nimbly, sliding across the dining table to dodge the lightning.

Sheng An stepped on him, one hand gripping his neck, her gaze icy. “You can try-see if you kill me with your lightning first, or if I snap your neck first.”

Her grip was not gentle; the powerful fingers around his throat brought a palpable sense of death.

The man was so frightened that even his cries of pain stopped abruptly.

Sheng An glanced at his other hand and sneered, “If you can’t use your superpower with that hand either, I don’t mind breaking it too.”

Almost by instinct, the lightning in the man’s hand vanished. His face turned pale, eyes filled with terror.

Behind Qiu Yu, another person panicked. “Let go of Lou Mingwei!”

Group A members glared at Sheng An, their expressions ugly.

Jiang Yu refused to back down, glaring right back at them.

Song Linwei’s face was full of anger.

Li Xin turned into a Metal Man, his gaze wary.

-The two sides were at a standoff.

Hao Jingye shouted angrily, “Team Leader Qiu, your subordinate used Electrokinesis against Team Leader Sheng in violation of the rules. The cafeteria surveillance has already recorded everything. What, are you trying to eliminate dissent?”

“She hurt Lou Mingwei too!” Geng Leqian retorted from the other side.

Song Linwei took a deep breath and spoke slowly, “I’ve already read the Special Affairs Division’s rules. The first rule is not to attack others without authorization. Team Leader Qiu, your subordinate has already broken the rules.”

Qiu Yu clearly hadn’t expected this and looked extremely displeased.

Sheng An still gripped Lou Mingwei’s neck, looking down at him. It was as if she was speaking to him, or perhaps to everyone-
