The Lao Saozi sitting next to Su Xiaoxiao was looking much paler at the moment, clearly feeling unwell.

But he quickly composed himself, looked at Jin Zhuang, and signaled him to hurry up and calm everyone down!

Jin Zhuang glanced at the few noisy people, rubbing his temples in frustration. He hated this kind of teammate the most-loud and clueless.

He understood Lao Saozi’s hint right away. He slammed his fist on the bus wall, glared fiercely at the noisy group, and shouted at the top of his voice,

“Everybody quiet! What’s with all the yelling? You think yelling is going to help you survive till the end?!”

“If you want to get off the bus and seek death, go ahead! I won’t stop you! But if anyone keeps stirring up trouble and messing with everyone’s nerves, I’ll throw you off the bus myself!”

Jin Zhuang’s furious roar was like an angry lion.

The noisy ones were instantly intimidated.

After all, besides being a hunter, Jin Zhuang was tall and imposing.

The noisy group shrank back, glancing at Jin Zhuang without another peep.

One of them, however, secretly looked at Jin Zhuang with a mix of fear, jealousy, and resentment.

If you didn’t have that hunter status, what would you have to be so cocky about?!

This person was none other than Zhu Wei, the slightly sleazy-looking fat man who had wanted to sit next to Su Xiaoxiao earlier.

He didn’t even realize that he had just barely escaped death.

Ironically, it was his lack of cleverness that saved his life.

Once the bus quieted down, Jin Zhuang looked at the group, their faces still unsettled, and said, “Now that we’ve made it through the first night, there’s already been our first victim.”

“After this round of darkness, there’s some good news and some bad news.”

Jin Zhuang looked at everyone and said seriously, “The good news, as you all know, is that those ghosts can only kill one person at night.”

After speaking, Jin Zhuang’s face turned grim and weary. “The bad news is, among the 19 of us, we have no idea how many ghosts there are!”

Surviving this first night, Jin Zhuang felt even more how tough this game would be.

Just then, Fang Ya, the office worker in the front row, pointed at the small TV hanging from the bus ceiling and exclaimed:

“Jin Zhuang! Everyone! Look, the small TV turned on! This game is kind of like an open-card game now-that’s good news!”

Everyone looked at her in response.

On the small TV, the identity of the dead person was clearly displayed!

[Liu Fei has been eliminated. His identity: Ordinary Passenger.]

Lao Saozi looked at the small TV and, a little cheerfully, said, “With this clue, the difficulty drops a lot!”

The rest quickly realized the key point and immediately felt a glimmer of hope.

“Everyone, with this clue, our survival rate just went way up! Until the very end, we must not give up!” Jin Zhuang tried to inspire everyone. “I will definitely find the ghost hiding among us and throw him off the bus! I want to help everyone survive together-but only if we’re united!”

“Well said!” Lao Saozi applauded enthusiastically.

Then Fang Ya was the second to clap.

Gradually, the others also began to clap.

“Alright! Let’s unite and find the ghost so we can survive!”

“Survive!”

“Captain Jin! I’ll listen to you! Whatever you tell me to do, I’ll do it!”

With this atmosphere, the fear and anxiety in everyone’s hearts faded a lot.

When it was dark, all the Live Stream Rooms went black.

But now-

The viewers in Su Xiaoxiao’s Live Stream Room, watching the broadcast, had all turned into Sherlock Holmes-like detectives.

“So far, I can tell Lao Saozi really wants to survive and has super high emotional intelligence! Plus, he’s clearly won Jin Zhuang’s trust!”

“Hahaha! I was right! I just guessed this guy would get killed by the ghost! And my girl really is safe!”

“Even though I knew whoever got killed by the ghost would die horribly, I didn’t expect it to be THIS bad. I’m starting to suspect the guy with glasses is the ghost! He seems a bit different than before!”

“I think the woman in the second row on the right is suspicious. I noticed she hasn’t said a word since getting on the bus! At first, she was just pretending to be calm, but now it doesn’t even feel like she’s pretending. There’s something wrong with her!”
“According to what you said, that girl in the fourth row from the left is the one with the real problem. Everyone saw how scared she was before, and now she looks like she’s just acting. I’d say there’s an eighty percent chance she’s suspicious!”

“No, no! If you ask me, it’s that sharp-featured, monkey-like young man who’s the real problem!”

If even a dog happened to walk by, it would probably be labeled a suspect by the viewers in Su Xiaoxiao’s Live Stream Room.

At that moment, everyone except those focused on Su Xiaoxiao and Jin Zhuang looked like ghosts.

While they were fiercely voicing their opinions-

Lao Saozi stood up, looked at everyone, and said solemnly, “Next, let’s proceed with the one-on-one session I mentioned earlier. We’ll start from the nearest and go to the farthest.”

After saying this, Lao Saozi turned to Jin Zhuang and said seriously, “Jin Zhuang, from here on you’ll have to rely on your own judgment! Good luck!”

Jin Zhuang felt the full weight of Lao Saozi’s trust, and he suddenly felt like the village’s hope.

He nodded solemnly and said, “Alright! I’ll judge carefully!”

So, each passenger quietly said a few words to Jin Zhuang, with each person’s time not exceeding thirty seconds.

During this, Jin Zhuang surreptitiously glanced at several people in the vehicle-including Su Xiaoxiao.

The last one to speak to Jin Zhuang was Su Xiaoxiao.

Following the others, Su Xiaoxiao also stepped up to Jin Zhuang.

Jin Zhuang looked at the petite Su Xiaoxiao, who was only half his height, and crouched down, turning his head to listen.

As for this rather odd little girl, someone who claimed to be a Verifier had vouched for her, saying she was a good person.

To be honest, Jin Zhuang wasn’t quite convinced.

It was simply because Su Xiaoxiao gave him such a strange feeling-she didn’t seem like a normal person at all.

Expressionless, Su Xiaoxiao leaned toward Jin Zhuang’s ear and whispered, “Good luck. I’m not a Verifier. Also, your underwear is showing – it’s red.”

Upon hearing this, Jin Zhuang immediately turned to look at Su Xiaoxiao, speechless.

Su Xiaoxiao wasn’t afraid of Jin Zhuang at all. Her small eyes looked straight at his, her face completely emotionless.

Su Xiaoxiao thought there was nothing wrong with what she said: she cheered him on, told him she wasn’t a Verifier, and kindly reminded him his underwear was showing.

Otherwise, she really didn’t know what else to say.

Seeing Jin Zhuang’s speechless look, Su Xiaoxiao motioned for him to turn his head back.

Jin Zhuang could see Su Xiaoxiao had more to say, so he turned his head back.

Su Xiaoxiao whispered again in Jin Zhuang’s ear, “Aren’t you going to thank me?”

Jin Zhuang: ……

This little girl really isn’t normal!

Jin Zhuang looked at Su Xiaoxiao, forced a stiff smile, leaned in close, and said in a stiff tone, “Little girl, thank you!”

Su Xiaoxiao looked at Jin Zhuang and silently mouthed something before returning to her seat.

From Su Xiaoxiao’s lip movements, Jin Zhuang could make out what she said.

She mouthed, “You’re welcome!?”

Why?!

The other seventeen people all said normal things, and Jin Zhuang’s mind was working clearly to make his judgments.

But then he just happened to run into this strange little girl, who almost stunned him!

After Su Xiaoxiao returned to her seat, Lao Saozi immediately grabbed her hand and asked curiously, “Xiaoxiao, what did you say to him? Why does he look a bit out of sorts?”

Su Xiaoxiao didn’t hide anything and told her the truth.

When Lao Saozi heard it, she immediately burst out laughing.

“Xiaoxiao, you really are something.”

At this moment, Jin Zhuang had composed himself, gathered his thoughts, and looked at everyone as he began to speak: “Everyone, quiet down and look at me.”

Everyone turned to Jin Zhuang.

Jin Zhuang swept his gaze across the group, then his expression shifted, becoming very serious, and he said in a deep voice,

“You would never guess how many Verifiers popped up this time!”

“Let me tell you.” Jin Zhuang raised his right hand, opened his palm, and declared:

“Five in total!”
