Summary
Hua Zhaoye grew up with a blade in her hand and a talent for disciplining unfaithful brothers-in-law. Romance was never part of her campaign plans—until her family marries Shen Wei, a breathtakingly handsome, painfully straightforward merchant’s son, into the household. Shen Wei adores her bluntness, follows her to the border camp, and turns every act of care into a declaration of love. His arrival also forces the aloof strategist Yun Zhi to confront the feelings he rejected years ago. Faced with a devoted husband and a regretful old flame, Zhaoye finally learns the difference between worshipping someone from afar and being loved exactly as she is.
