I wisely followed an experienced player with big wavy hair beside me and climbed straight to the third floor of the palace in one breath.

But just when I thought I was safe, two fathead fish stared at us through the wide rose window and spoke up.

“Target spotted, but the boss forbids us from damaging the palace. What do we do?”

Another one stretched its arm out from behind and thumped it a few times, angrily saying, “Idiot, can’t you just signal the brothers inside to handle it?”

The little mermaid’s nose and the corners of his eyes were tinged with red. His crying made my heart soften so much that I wanted to… pounce.

The little mermaid sensed something and raised his scarlet eyes, staring straight at me.

“Who are you? How dare you spy on me here!”
