Chapter 19

Aunt Zou immediately sneered, “You think they want to see me get torn apart? What they want even more is to watch me torture you to death!”

The bullet comments instantly chimed in:

[Exactly hahahahaha]

[If you want to see the pretty boy’s pupils dilate after he dies, his face covered in blood and twisted with fear, press 1]

[1]

[111]

[11111]

Qin Xian tilted his head and thought for a moment. “Then how about you all vote for me right now? If the votes pass twenty-five thousand, I’ll tear off two of its tentacles. If I fail, then… how about I chop off one of my own arms?”

His expression was calm, and the corners of his eyes even curved slightly, as if he weren’t talking about his own arm at all.

The bullet comments instantly exploded.

[You’re betting that big? Nice, nice]

[Voted for you. I want to see the look on your face when you regret saying that]

[Did anyone notice the muscular guy is gone?]

[He ran, right? I saw him slip away earlier]

[Tch, coward. Blogger, remember to catch him later and kill him]

Only then did Aunt Zou realize Huang Quxie was nowhere to be found underground. It snorted coldly. “Heh, I never thought a police officer would be such a coward. How ridiculous, hahahahaha!”

[What!? He’s a cop? Then they should’ve killed him first just now]

[Did the person above get arrested by cops before? Hahahaha]

[A cop deserves to be tortured even more]

“Fine, fine, fine.” Aunt Zou waved its arms. “I’ll catch him later and play with him slowly. For now, I’ll deal with this boastful, show-off human in front of me first! Regret what you said! I’ll cut off your limbs first!”

The four recovered tentacles behind it slowly rose, their tips turning into cleavers as they chopped toward Qin Xian from four directions.

Qin Xian neither retreated nor dodged sideways. Instead, he charged straight at the massive anomaly.

The four cable tentacles in the air froze for a second, then immediately curved around and stabbed toward Qin Xian’s back.

Just as they were about to catch up and skewer him clean through, Qin Xian suddenly flipped backward. His toes traced a perfect arc through the air before landing directly on a tentacle. Not only did he dodge the attack, he used the force to leap straight onto the anomaly’s enormous body.

“Damn it, you filthy rat!”

Aunt Zou roared and swung its tentacles to stab at him, but Qin Xian seemed to have eyes on the back of his head. He actually dodged them all completely.

It had even struck too hard to pull back in time, and Aunt Zou’s stabbing blade pierced its own body instead.

“Ah!” it screamed. The ends of its tentacles turned back into cables, changing from stabbing to binding.

This change immediately drew a wave of mockery in the livestream.

[Yo, streamer sucks so bad. Couldn’t stab him and even stabbed yourself]

[So stupid]

[As expected, just some mid-to-low-level little trash. So huge and it still can’t beat one person]

[Heeheehee, Brother Qin Yi is so handsome]

Qin Xian’s vote count rose again, soon breaking past twenty-five thousand.

Seeing this, Qin Xian laughed. “Good. Then I’ll make good on my promise now.”

He stepped onto an electronic screen, launched himself into the air, and landed at the base of one of the cable tentacles.

A joint could be seen there, with many thin connecting wires around it.

Aunt Zou immediately sensed something was wrong. Its body gave off a buzzing vibration as it tried to shake him off.

But Qin Xian stood firm. He raised the steel rod in his hand and drove it straight into the joint.

“Aaaaaahhh!!”

A scream rang out. Sparks crackled and burst from the joint, and the corresponding tentacle smashed to the ground and stopped moving.

Qin Xian reached out, grabbed a component on the anomaly’s body to steady himself, then turned to the camera and said, “All right, one dismantled. If the votes pass thirty-five thousand, I’ll remove the second.”

A flood of “6666” immediately drifted across the bullet comments, and Qin Xian’s votes shot up rapidly.

“Stop right there!!”

Aunt Zou suddenly interrupted, and three tentacles slammed toward Qin Xian at once.

Qin Xian quickly jumped off its body, rolled once across the ground, then climbed up and steadied himself.

By now, Aunt Zou had already dragged a camera in front of itself. With a vicious expression, it roared at the lens, “Do you really want a human to win!? Vote for me! If I win two more rounds, I can tear him to pieces for good! Don’t you want to see that!? Don’t you want to kill him!?”

A huge pile of comments mocking it flooded the screen. But Aunt Zou’s words did work-Qin Xian’s vote count nearly stopped rising.

Among all the monsters and demons in this livestream room, almost no one wanted Qin Xian to win.

Aunt Zou opened its mouth wide and laughed. Its teeth had already turned metallic, each one extremely sharp.

“Face reality! In this livestream room, you can never beat me! Because what everyone wants to see most is your corpse!”

The screens of every size around it flickered together, and the images began to turn red, filling the entire underground space with an ominous crimson.

“Hmph.” Qin Xian snorted coldly and held the steel rod horizontally. “Before that happens, I’ll finish dismantling you first!”

As soon as he finished speaking, he charged forward again. Stepping nimbly on the debris beneath the anomaly’s body, he climbed upward, apparently planning to repeat the trick and sever the other tentacles.

For a moment, Aunt Zou felt a chill crawl over it. It suddenly became somewhat dissatisfied with its current body-this enormous body that couldn’t move at all, and could only stand there like a log, letting a little bug harass it.
It had always taken pride in this body. Any human who saw its true form would be so frightened their legs went weak. Almost no one could fight back against it.

But today, it had met someone who wasn’t afraid of it at all, and could even hurt it.

“This is impossible! I’m going to rip you into a pile of rotten meat!”

With a roar, its remaining three tentacles whipped toward Qin Xian.

At the same time, the monster’s body beneath Qin Xian’s feet kept shifting nonstop. Along the path he had to take, sharp metal spikes burst out, trying to skewer him.

Qin Xian, however, treated those spikes as perfect climbing anchors. His speed only increased.

In just over ten seconds, he had climbed to the base of another tentacle.

Seeing that another tentacle was about to be torn off, Aunt Zou hurled out a vicious curse. From the mass of metal and flesh beneath it, an especially massive camera monster suddenly drilled out.

Qin Xian reacted with incredible speed, yanking his jacket over his head.

With a click, the flash erupted in a blinding burst of light. Even through the fabric, Qin Xian could faintly sense the piercing whiteness outside.

But most of the light was still weakened by the jacket, and Qin Xian felt nothing strange in his body. As expected, the camera monster’s control had limits. If the white light didn’t hit the eyes, it simply failed.

Before he could relax, Qin Xian suddenly felt something closing in on him.

With his vision blocked, there was no way to find footholds on the tangled, bizarre body beneath him. But being caught by a tentacle would be even deadlier.

In that instant, Qin Xian made his choice. He stepped into an empty space beneath his feet and dropped straight off the creature.

As he fell, he lowered the jacket and pressed himself tight against the monster’s body, sliding down it like a chute while desperately adjusting his direction to avoid the sharp objects.

But there was too much random junk around him. Inevitably, he tripped over a metal spike that suddenly appeared, lost his balance, and tumbled to the ground, his arm slamming heavily against the floor.

Qin Xian gritted his teeth and quickly scrambled up. Raising the steel rod, he smashed away the tentacle chasing after him.

But the bizarre creature suddenly stopped attacking. Qin Xian looked up and saw it staring excitedly at the electronic screens. The countdown on them had only ten seconds left.

“Hahahaha! I still have more votes than you! You’re dead!” Aunt Zou laughed more wildly than ever.

Qin Xian glanced at it like he was looking at an idiot, then pulled the unfinished Snickers from his pocket and took a bite.

Aunt Zou’s bloodshot eyes were fixed on the screen as it counted down along with it. “Five, four…”

But just then, several gunshots rang out from above. Aunt Zou couldn’t be bothered to care, but when there were only two seconds left in the countdown, every screen in front of it suddenly went black.

Aunt Zou’s ecstatic expression froze on its face, looking especially ridiculous.

“Uh-oh.” Qin Xian rested the steel rod on his shoulder and let out two syllables of pure mockery.

Aunt Zou’s expression changed dramatically. “What the?! A power outage?! Why would there be a power outage? Didn’t I send more than a dozen people to guard the breaker?!”

It abruptly realized something. “It was that cop who ran away. It was him! You planned this?!”

Qin Xian ignored its question. After taking in some sugar and with the negative effects of losing the PK fading away, he charged forward again with the steel pipe in one hand and swung it straight at the nearest electronic screen.

“Crash!”

The screen shattered all over the ground.

Qin Xian raised an eyebrow. The feeling of smashing these things was ridiculously satisfying. Normally, he couldn’t do it because it was too expensive, but now he could finally smash to his heart’s content. Holding the rod, he looked as arrogant as some teenager on a foreign street, swinging at anything within reach.

Because the power was out, all the machinery had gone still as if it had malfunctioned. The two thick cable tentacles also drooped to either side. Even the giant camera monster that could fire the flash had collapsed.

As Qin Xian smashed things, he kept taunting it. “I mean, your stuff is way too outdated. What camera these days doesn’t come with its own battery?”

Watching its body get wrecked with a series of loud cracks and crashes, Aunt Zou shrieked in fury. Then its body slowly emerged, until it separated from the enormous mass.

Its lower half no longer looked human. Instead, it resembled a shoddily made robot covered in oil stains and blood.

A closer look revealed human fat and fragments of organs wedged between the mechanical parts.

Qin Xian immediately took a disgusted step back.

Aunt Zou didn’t notice that little movement. The moment it landed, it took a step back and watched Qin Xian warily.

To be honest, it was somewhat afraid of the human before it.

Ever since becoming a bizarre creature, it had used livestreaming to harm many people and absorb a great deal of power. In just over half a month, it had acquired its own Domain. In this village, it was an invincible existence. It had even believed humans were utterly incapable of defeating it. Even the police officer who had come to investigate not long ago had been controlled with ease.

But it had never known that someone with such terrifying strength could exist in this world. Or rather, was this even a human? How could a human possess strength like this?!
