After Rebirth, I Made My Alpha Fiancé Pregnant - Chapter 3
Xie Heng woke from hunger that evening.
His aching muscles hurt so badly that he grimaced.
The room was a mess. Apart from Xie Heng’s pheromones, other scents that had yet to disperse completely lingered in the air.
He forced himself upright and realized that something didn’t feel quite right.
Following the strange sensation, Xie Heng saw the man lying behind him, and…
Fuck. That idiot actually…
Xie Heng couldn’t make sense of the situation at all.
What was happening? What the hell was happening?
Nothing like this had ever happened in their previous life!
“Rong Bai, you…”
The moment Xie Heng spoke, he startled at the sound of his own voice, hoarse as though it had been scraped raw with sandpaper.
Fury surged through him. He threw a punch at the man beside him.
After such prolonged exertion, there wasn’t much strength behind the blow, but it still landed with a dull thud.
I rubbed my stinging cheek and yanked Xie Heng’s sluggish body back in one motion.
“Ah!”
Xie Heng’s fists clenched at the renewed strain. The body he had struggled so hard to lift collapsed beside me once more.
He tried to suppress me with his pheromones.
Dense, aggressive pheromones poured from his scent gland and rapidly filled the room.
The man behind him remained unmoved.
Xie Heng suddenly remembered that the other man was a Beta.
A Beta who couldn’t detect pheromones at all!
“Hungry?”
I felt Xie Heng’s empty stomach and called for several dishes to be brought up.
To keep him from losing his temper and overturning the plates, I picked up the handcuffs that had fallen beside the pillow and secured him again.
Once I was certain Xie Heng couldn’t move too much, I brought him to the dining table without changing our position.
At the sight of the glass in my hand, Xie Heng leaned forward of his own accord and gulped down a mouthful.
With the discomfort in his throat eased, he looked at the food on the table. His stomach gave a loud growl.
“Let me go. How am I supposed to eat like this?”
He suppressed his anger and tugged at the cuffs around his wrists.
“I’ll feed you.” With that, I picked up a bowl and sat beside Xie Heng.
I raised the bowl and blew on a spoonful of meat congee until it cooled.
Looking at the spoon poised before his lips, Xie Heng flushed scarlet with rage.
“Are you sick in the head, Rong Bai? I can feed myself. Let me go already.”
“No. You’ll eat like this.”
One look at Xie Heng’s expression was enough to tell me what he was thinking.
He either planned to beat me up once he was full or escape and call people in to deal with me.
Xie Heng leaned back in refusal.
“I’m not eating. If you don’t let me go, I won’t eat!”
I stared at his stubborn face for a long moment.
Then, under Xie Heng’s watchful gaze, I set the bowl back down.
“Then don’t eat.”
Xie Heng: “…”
Xie Heng hadn’t expected me to ignore the usual script, and his expression froze.
As he watched the meat congee move farther away, hunger finally defeated his reason.
He had been tormented for so long that he had no strength left. The other man was a Beta immune to pheromones, and besides, the two of them were still…
Xie Heng forced himself to ignore the feeling of something foreign inside him.
Even if he wanted to teach the other man a lesson, he would have to fill his stomach first…
“I’ll eat!”
I fed Xie Heng one spoonful at a time.
As I watched him bow his head obediently and swallow, I couldn’t resist drawing the spoon back and deliberately keeping it out of his reach.
A vein throbbed twice at Xie Heng’s temple. He was plainly furious.
But if he wanted to eat his fill, he had no choice but to swallow his anger and lean after the spoon.
Xie Heng cleaned every plate on the table.
He licked the corner of his mouth in satisfaction and gave me an exceptionally friendly smile.
“Rong Bai, untie me. We’re getting married anyway. Let’s pretend last night never happened.”
I studied Xie Heng’s expression.
“It seems you’ve got your energy back.”
The corner of Xie Heng’s mouth twitched. The curve he had forced onto it fell under my inscrutable gaze.
“What do you mean?”
I supported Xie Heng’s body and carried him back toward the bed where we had been entangled all night.
“We can continue.”
Once fed, Xie Heng put up a fierce fight. His unbound feet kicked at me relentlessly.
I couldn’t dodge them all, so I simply took the blows, then pressed close again whenever he drew his feet back.
After several rounds, Xie Heng was finally exhausted again. Only his mouth remained strong enough to keep threatening me.
“Rong Bai, you bastard. You’re finished. Once they realize I’m missing, they’ll be here soon.”
“You don’t think being engaged means you’ll get away with this, do you?”
“When the time comes, I’ll fucking kill you!”
“You mean your parents?” I interrupted.
I picked up the phone from the bedside table, opened the call history, and showed it to Xie Heng.
“I may not understand them, but surely you do?”
“Haven’t they been worried sick over the company’s project lately?”
“They can’t wait for us to sleep together and seal the deal.”
I stroked Xie Heng’s hair and kissed his forehead.
“So I told them I wanted to take you away alone for a few days. They were delighted.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll solve the project issue for you. You don’t need to worry about a thing…”
“You fucking animal!” Xie Heng slammed his shoulder into me. “I don’t need your help. I can solve it myself!”
I drew back slightly, then sank into him again.
Before long, Xie Heng went limp, his eyes filled with tears forced out of him.
I pulled him upright and embraced him from behind.
After unlocking Xie Heng’s phone, I went through his apps and deleted the Omegas from his contacts one by one as he watched.
“What are you doing?”
Xie Heng let out a low shout.
I remained unconcerned. “Deleting the people who need to be deleted.”
“What’s happened in the past has happened, but I won’t allow you to have anything to do with them after we’re married.”
Xie Heng kicked weakly. “Marriage? You still think we’re getting married?”
“There’s no way I’m marrying you! You psycho! Your brain is fucking rotten!”
Ignoring Xie Heng’s curses, I focused on deleting every Omega with whom he had once been intimate or flirtatious.
With every deletion, the pleasure in my heart swelled.
When the contacts list held only family, friends, and business associates, that pleasure finally reached its peak.
I couldn’t restrain my laughter.
This was what I should have done from the beginning.
Looking at Xie Heng as he frowned and trembled because of me, I bent over and pressed him down again.
I should have done this in our last life.
