Originally, Class Monitor Fang Zhao should have been tied up tightly, gagged, and stuffed into the cabinet like a rice dumpling.

“Where did he run off to?”

The School Doctor took out a pile of shaving razors from the medical equipment room.

He walked over to Gu Huaiwei’s side and looked down at her with a blank expression. “Student Gu… ka-ka-ka… what are you squatting here for? People are constantly coming and going here. It’s so crowded. If you keep crouching in front of the cabinet, you’ll always be blocking the other doctors’ way.”

But the room was completely empty. Aside from the School Doctor and the Little White Dog, Gu Huaiwei couldn’t see anyone else.

And inside the garbage room was a tiny elevator.

The elevator could only fit four people at most.

The School Doctor pressed the button to call it up.

The elevator was far too old and far too slow.

Gu Huaiwei could hear the shrill grinding sound of the elevator gears scraping against the track, and when the doors opened, the iron gate at the entrance had to be pushed aside by hand.

With how broken-down the thing was, Gu Huaiwei worried that the moment the three of them and the dog got on, the elevator would drop straight down and smash them into pieces.

A notice with Rules was posted beside the elevator.

“Please do not enter the elevator at the same time as Wangwang, to avoid an elevator accident.”

The red light on its collar flashed on and off.

On every floor, a woman with disheveled hair stood by the door, waiting for the elevator.

The elevator stopped at Basement Level 8.

The Red-clad Nurse outside was finally gone.

With a creaking groan, the elevator doors slowly opened.

After Gu Huaiwei followed the School Doctor out of the elevator, it seemed someone upstairs pressed the call button again. The doors closed, and the elevator slowly went back up.

The Principal’s Office was on this floor.

Gu Huaiwei heard chewing sounds coming from the darkness.
