Summary
The year I was hungriest, I went to the cemetery to steal food offerings. After seven days of eating them in a row, a translucent ghost floated out from behind a tombstone and angrily accused me of being a food thief. I was scared half to death, but if I didn’t eat, I really would starve to death. So, between being scared and eating, I chose to eat while being scared. The ghost: “…” Not long after, I went back to the cemetery and saw someone setting up a table in front of a tombstone. On it were burgers, fries, little chicken drumsticks, yogurt, chips, fruit salad, grilled wings, fried sausages, popcorn chicken, rice noodle rolls, pan-fried dumplings, and soup dumplings. “Grandpa, I brought everything you asked me to bring in my dream. Take your time eating, okay? Don’t choke.” The ghost poked his head out of the grave and waved at me. “Little girl! Come eat! It’s fresh and hot! Really tasty!”
