Found You - Chapter 3

After my shower, I stepped out of the bathroom.

Ye Lin sat at his desk, watching me with a dark, intent gaze.

I had to admit, Ye Lin was very good-looking. If he had been a woman, his looks would have been exactly my type.

His facial lines were clean and sharply defined, his bone structure sculpted, his nose high and straight, his lips full.

I suspected the main reason he had been voted the university’s hottest guy on the campus forum was his eyes.

They were narrow, phoenix-shaped eyes that tilted slightly upward, with a tiny mole at the outer corner. Whenever he looked at someone, those eyes curved as though smiling.

Handsome as he was, I often thought his smile looked fake as hell.

The way he looked at me was disgusting too—dark and viscous, like a beast hidden deep in the forest spying on its prey. It always reminded me of the revolting tentacles that loved crawling all over me.

Even more nauseatingly, he was now raking his eyes up and down my body, and his Adam’s apple actually bobbed several times.

Ugh… May the world one day be free of gay men…

Our university assigned two students to each dorm room, a fact I had been delighted by when I applied.

But if your male roommate was attracted to you, how was that any different from sharing a hotel room with him?

It was mortifying.

I pretended he didn’t exist and, enduring his stare, walked stiffly toward my bunk.

As I climbed the ladder, Ye Lin’s voice came from behind me.

“If you sleep without drying your hair, you’ll catch a cold.”

“Mind your own business.” I turned to snap at him, only to find Ye Lin staring directly at my… ass.

“Ye. Lin!”

I swore I had never been that loud in the dorm.

At my roar, Ye Lin looked away and smiled as though nothing had happened.

“Good night.”

“Sweet dreams.”

My dreams, however, were anything but sweet.

One thick tentacle after another coiled around me. They wound around my waist and probed downward, as ravenous and impatient as starving bees desperate to drink nectar.

I struggled with all my strength, but they only bound me tighter, leaving me helpless beneath their torment.

Then an icy hand pressed against my face.

A soft call sounded beside my ear.

“Ranran…”

The man’s voice in the dream gradually merged with Ye Lin’s.

My eyes flew open.

My chest heaved violently. In the moonlight, I found myself staring into Ye Lin’s eyes.

Dark and fathomless, they watched me quietly through the night.

At some point, he had climbed onto my bed. His hand rested on my cheek.

Still gasping, I couldn’t immediately separate dream from reality. Dazed, I asked hoarsely, “What did you… just call me?”

“Your name, of course.” Ye Lin looked calmly at me. “Qi’an.”

His hand moved to my forehead.

“You’re a little feverish.”

My mind was still foggy from sleep, and I thought he was calling me horny.

I fired back instinctively, “Not as horny as you!”

For once, Ye Lin froze.

“I said you have a slight fever. I warned you before bed that you’d catch cold if you didn’t dry your hair.”

The air congealed for a moment.

“Oh… oh.” Humiliated, I had no idea what to say.

After staring at his face, I finally found another reason to attack.

I slapped his hand away. “Who said you could get into my bed?”

Ye Lin propped himself up and pinned me beneath him.

As he looked at me, something in his eyes darkened.

“Blame yourself,” he drawled. “Making sounds like that in the middle of the night, getting me all worked up.”

“What kind of sweet dream were you having?”

As he spoke, he nudged his knee forward.

The sudden motion sent a jolt through me. A moan slipped out before I could stop it.

“Are you insane?” I shouted angrily. “How many times do I have to tell you? I’m straight!”

“Mm. Mm.”

Ye Lin hummed dismissively several times, caught my hand, and guided it toward the side of the bed.

My fingers encountered several oddly shaped objects. I turned my head for a better look and discovered a pile of sex toys.

“I’ve heard that human males who are like brothers help each other out. Apparently, it’s a sign of friendship.” Ye Lin’s eyes curved with pleasure, and he seemed in an excellent mood.

“Qi’an, since you refuse to be my mate, let’s be brothers who always help each other instead.”

“I’ll use your toys to make you feel good.”

I was already burning from the fever. Hearing those two sentences made me feel even hotter, so much so that I overlooked Ye Lin’s peculiar choice of words.

He had just said something utterly jaw-dropping, yet he continued looking at me as if it were nothing.

Face blazing, I stared at the pile of toys and actually began to stammer.

“S-stop talking nonsense!”

“W-what do you mean, my things? O-only the masturbation sleeve is mine.”
