Chapter 8

When it comes to being a Green Tea, what am I even compared to her?

I’m so low-level!

Ever since I joined the Sect, I’ve been busy for months, yet aside from everyone thinking I’m a bit of a fool, I haven’t accomplished a single thing.

But look at Li Miaomiao. She’s been here for less than two days and she’s already driven the Male Lead and Female Lead apart. They’re practically on the verge of going their separate ways right then and there.

Good grief!

I also didn’t expect Li Miaomiao to be so thick-skinned. She actually followed us back to the Sect, just waiting to set off for the Secret Realm with us.

Well, I’m not having it.

Especially since her spiritual power is damaged and she has no way to protect herself, my Eldest Senior Brother, the Male Lead, actually found her a set of Golden Silk Soft Jade Armor to wear.

I went into a frenzy again.

“What makes you think you’re on my level? Do you think you’re worthy of using the same things as me?!”

My shouting could be heard from halfway across the mountain.

I was truly losing it. “Second Senior Sister said there are only two sets of soft armor in the entire Sect, and she was going to give both to me for protection! How could you give them to an outsider?”

Admittedly, what I said was a bit petty.

Eldest Senior Brother’s face immediately darkened, and he even lost his temper with me, which was rare.

“Your life is a life, but is Miss Li’s life worth nothing?”

He snapped at me, his words carrying a heavy warning. “She is currently unable to protect herself. Just like you, she should wear this kind of soft armor.”

“This was brought back by my sister during her travels!” I cried. “This is clearly something my sister gave to me, yet you insist on snatching it away for her, and now you’re even scolding me…”

Seeing that I still refused to let it go, Eldest Senior Brother became truly furious.

“Go to the back and reflect on your actions in seclusion!”

His voice was terrifying, brimming with rage. “Thirteenth Junior Sister, you are young, and everyone usually overlooks your behavior, but that doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want!”

I wailed even louder.

I was absolutely heartbroken. “If I could do whatever I wanted, I’d kick her out of here this instant!”

Those words were the final straw.

Eldest Senior Brother immediately locked me in the Back Mountain Stone Cave.

He even set up layers of Restrictions.

“Miss Li is a guest. Since you have no hospitality, you can stay here and think about it!”

“You will stay here until the Secret Realm opens.”

He warned me, “If you are still this headstrong then, you can stay here and forget about going to the Secret Realm at all.”

“You’re biased!”

“You’re so biased!”

I shouted, cried, and threw a tantrum inside the stone cave. “I want my sister! I don’t want you!”

Second Senior Sister had been ordered to leave on business early this morning and hadn’t returned yet.

The other Senior Brothers in the Sect felt sorry for me, but seeing Eldest Senior Brother in such a rare state of fury, they didn’t dare to openly defy him.

I was left all alone, locked in the stone cave.

I was like a lonely little blade of grass-my sister was away, and my mother had died long ago.

So, all I could do was cry.

I cried until the sky turned dark and the sun and moon lost their light. I cried so much that the Elder meditating in the cave next to mine couldn’t take it anymore.

“Who on earth recruited you into the Sect?”

This Elder was about to go crazy. “How can a girl cry this much? It’s just a set of Golden Silk Soft Armor! Once I finish my seclusion, I can get you hundreds of them! Can you just give me some peace and quiet?”

But I was truly miserable.

“I can cry if I want to! I’m going to cry! What’s it to you?”

I acted like a spoiled brat. “I want my Second Senior Sister! I’ll stop making a scene once she gets here.”

The Elder paused for a moment.

Then, he began to laugh.

“Fujing has always been cold and detached. How did she end up getting stuck with you?”

This old fellow was intentionally saying bad things to tease me. “You silly girl! Stop cursing your Eldest Senior Brother. In the eyes of us older generation, we were all thinking of playing matchmaker for your Eldest Senior Brother and that wonderful sister of yours.”

What?!

I was pale with shock.

“Are you all blind?!”

I was practically fuming. “What kind of bastard is Eldest Senior Brother? How unlucky! How could he possibly be worthy of my Second Senior Sister?”

The Elder burst into laughter.

“You’re an interesting child. Fine, I’ll help you find your wonderful sister.”

He said, “I’ll use a Secret Art Voice Transmission for you. What was your name again?”

I sobbed and said, “My name is Ruan Miaomiao. I’m ranked thirteenth.”

Hearing that name, the neighboring stone cave fell silent for a moment.

“Miaomiao, don’t cry anymore.”

When the Elder spoke again, his tone was very gentle. “Miaomiao, I’ve called Fujing back, and now I’m opening the seal on your cave door. Don’t be sad anymore, okay?”

This sudden tenderness made me quite wary.

I said exactly what was on my mind: “Why are you being so nice to me? Who are you?”

“Me?”

“I am the Third Elder,” he said. “Your Second Senior Sister is my personal disciple.”

“Would you like to join my lineage as well?”

I bit my lip and thought about it.

“What are the benefits of joining your lineage?”

The Third Elder was stunned for a moment. “What kind of benefits do you want?”

I didn’t hold back. “I want you to kick that Li Miaomiao out of here right now.”

“…What a handful.”

This request gave him a bit of a headache.

But this Third Elder was quite easy to talk to. He said, “Fine, I’ll kick her out. Just be happy, alright?”

I was very satisfied.

In this Sect, there can only be one Green Tea-me!
