I hadn’t expected Wen Zhou to be so dissatisfied with me.

I clicked on the screenshot again and read through the list of Wen Zhou’s complaints and criticisms one by one.

My heart was almost blank with confusion.

Wen Zhou was a companion beastman I had bought at a high price from the High-End Beastman Market.

He was beautiful, arrogant, but also lively and spirited.

I was used to being alone, and had never raised any living creature.

So raising a beastman, I was extra careful, strictly following the care manual provided by the seller, regulating his sleep schedule, protein and fiber intake, and daily exercise.

At first, Wen Zhou appeared unwilling, but his behavior could be called obedient.

When did he start finding fault with everything?

I took off my glasses and rubbed my temples wearily.

When I opened my eyes again, my gaze fell on his words:

Xu Guanyue liked bright colors, dressed flamboyantly, and loved to criticize me and find fault.

“Dressing so blandly all day, people would think you’re becoming a nun. And the smell of potions on you fills the house-how can your beastman stand it?”

She clattered in on her sky-high heels, and upon entering the kitchen, she let out another exclamation.

“Oh my god, what are you feeding your little fox? Meat paste? That’s disgusting, little sister. You’re raising a beastman, not a wild animal! Why is he eating raw meat?”

I said nothing, watching her circle my home like she was inspecting her territory, finally stopping in front of me.

“Not talking again? You’re still so boring. No wonder no one likes you, from family to outsiders.”

She glanced sideways at Wen Zhou, who was staring at her blankly, and laughed again:

“Look at you, the only one willing to stay with you is the one you bought with money.”

“Little fox, want to come play at big sister’s place?”

“My home~ is way more fun than here.”

I finally spoke, coldly: “Don’t lead the child astray.”

Afterwards, Wen Zhou kept asking me about Xu Guanyue, both openly and covertly.

I thought he was just curious and didn’t think much of it.

Now it seems, he clearly favors Xu Guanyue.

Even the words he uses to nitpick me, every single one, must have been learned from Xu Guanyue that day.
