Hua Suihe sat at the other end of the sofa. Life Assistant Kitty had lost its signal, and the television wouldn’t turn on. Hua Suihe picked up the remote and tried manual controls, but she still couldn’t get the TV to work, so she eventually gave up.

“Hua Hua, do you hate me?”

Hearing the familiar sob in her voice, Hua Suihe looked up to see those pitiful eyes. With her mouth slightly pouted and the rims of her eyes red, she truly looked heart-wrenching.

“Why would I hate you?”

“We haven’t seen each other in so long…” Lano lowered her head, her fingers tightly clutching the hem of her skirt as she whispered her true feelings. “I really missed you.”

“Oh?” Hua Suihe tilted her head and smiled. “You only left for a little while. How can you say it’s been a long time?”

Hearing Hua Suihe casually mention the time she had just spent with the impostor, a flash of resentful jealousy flickered in Lano’s eyes. She looked toward Hua Suihe and unconsciously shifted her position to lean closer. “Hua Hua, I’ll stay with you. I just need you by my side.”

“Alright, alright. Why so many sweet words today?” Hua Suihe interrupted her with a joke. “You’re still wearing your work uniform; you must have work to do today, right? Hurry along now. I’m going to watch some TV and take a nap.”

Lano’s gaze went blank for a moment. Her eyes drifted to the pitch-black crystal screen, and a hint of confusion gradually colored her expression. After a moment of distraction, she shook her head and suddenly stood up.

“Hua Hua, then I’m going to work. You, you stay here… No, that won’t do.” Lano retracted her words immediately. Standing before Hua Suihe, she reached out her hand. “Hua Hua, why don’t I take you with me?”

She couldn’t leave her in the room; the impostor would come back to monopolize Hua Hua. She had to take Hua Hua with her.

Hua Suihe rubbed her temples, looking somewhat exhausted. She turned her down. “But I’m tired. I want to take a nap.”

Lano did not pull back her outstretched hand. She asked persistently, “Hua Hua, do you just not want to be with me?”

Hua Suihe looked up, staring directly into her eyes without any expression. The atmosphere instantly turned into a stalemate.

Lano lowered her eyelids to avoid her gaze but remained stubborn. “Hua Hua, come with me.”

Normally, she should be completely obedient to Hua Hua and never force her to do anything she didn’t like. But she didn’t want Hua Hua to stay with that impostor. She would be jealous; she couldn’t allow it.

So, she would keep Hua Hua by her side and not let the impostor steal her away again.

Then, she would kill her. From then on, she would be the only Ye Susheng by Hua Hua’s side.

At this thought, Lano curled her lips into a smile. She leaned over slightly and grabbed Hua Suihe’s wrist, pulling her up from the sofa with an irresistible force. “Hua Hua, I just want Hua Hua to accompany me. Just come with me, okay?”

Hua Suihe tried to pull her hand back with a bit of force, but it only resulted in Lano tightening her grip. She eventually gave up. As a flicker of emotion crossed her eyes, a smile also appeared on Hua Suihe’s lips. “Fine, then. I’ll accompany you, Miss Lano.”

Hearing this title, Miss Lano shuddered. Her eyes went hollow for a moment before she acted as if nothing had happened. “Hua Hua, stop teasing me.”

Before being pulled out the door, Hua Suihe casually placed her signal-less phone on the shoe cabinet.

Ye Susheng spent half an hour dealing with the players searching for clues before she couldn’t wait any longer and returned to the room.

However, when she returned, the room was empty. Hua Hua was nowhere to be found.

She saw the phone Hua Hua had left on the shoe cabinet by the entrance. Upon opening it, she saw the message left by Hua: *Taken away by Lano, life is not in danger, come find me. -Hua*

Lano, that impostor!

Life Assistant Kitty suddenly spoke up at that moment: “Welcome home, Master.”

Ye Susheng’s red eyes swirled with rage. Her black mist body instantly expanded, crowding the entire space. The Kitty robot’s large eyes flickered a few times before entering sleep mode.

The trash who dared to snatch Hua Hua away deserved to die.

A hole was torn into the air, and Ye Susheng stepped into the pitch-black space-time rift.

The players, who had just been scared into a cold sweat by Ye Susheng, were currently analyzing clues with their teammates.

“I feel like Miss Lano’s love for the opera is very contradictory to her personality.”

“That’s not Lano at all. Ye Susheng is Ye Susheng.”

“If Ye Susheng isn’t Lano, then where did Lano go? Was she killed by Ye Susheng?”

“Ye Susheng just said she’d be back at the Opera House in half an hour. Could there be some danger?”

The Opera House lights were not on outside of performance hours. The hall was empty. In the darkness, a faint yellow light leaked from the doors and windows of the dilapidated castle depicted on the stage’s canvas.

The roses on the stage were bright and vivid. They seemed to sense Lano’s presence, coiling toward her the moment she stepped onto the stage.

Lano trampled the wildly growing roses underfoot, ignoring their entwinement as she pulled Hua Hua toward the massive canvas.

“Hua Hua, go into the castle and wait for me first. Once I’m done with work, I’ll come get you.”

Hua Suihe carefully avoided the thorns of the roses at her feet. Hearing this, she slowly looked up at the giant castle in the canvas. For a moment, she even doubted her own ears.

Before she could say anything, Lano pushed her forward two steps, sending her face-first into the canvas.

Hua Suihe shielded herself with her hands and closed her eyes. The expected sensation of hitting the canvas never came; instead, there was a feeling of stepping into empty space.

When she opened her eyes, she was already standing in an unfamiliar environment.
