Chapter 2

Xuanchen rescued me.

I leaned against the cave wall, slowly regulating my breathing.

No good.

This body was too broken.

It couldn’t hold spiritual energy in its dantian at all.

Off to the side, the “darling girl” from the bullet comments was watching me with a curious look on her face.

Looking closely, she really did resemble me by about seventy to eighty percent.

I had only stared at her for a little while.

With that, he turned to Xuanwei.

I finally returned to my former residence.

He poked my face.

“Get lost!”

I impatiently slapped him across the face.

Master clutched his left cheek with nostalgia.

…This man was honestly kind of sick in the head sometimes.

Master beamed as he patted me on the shoulder.

“All right. Since you’ve come back to life, rest properly for now.

“You don’t need to worry about sect affairs.

“Xuanchen is already capable of handling things on his own, and Xuanwei is also a rare cultivation prodigy.

“I have already handed all of the sect’s daily affairs over to them.

“From now on, if you need anything, just ask Xuanwei.”

Master turned his head away and coughed twice, bluffing.

“Rest well. I’ll come see you again in a couple of days.”

With that, he fled in panic.

What terrible acting.

They were definitely hiding something from me.

But, well…

I rubbed my forehead.
