Murder System Plan - Chapter 1
Chapter 1
Gu Zhou was my childhood sweetheart.
I was the one who stayed with him through the five years when he was at his lowest.
Back then, he fell in love with the mission taker Li Yun and severed ties with his family for her sake.
But once Li Yun completed her mission, she simply walked away.
He chased after her, calling her name over and over, begging her not to leave.
Every cry sounded like it was torn from his heart, but she never looked back once.
After she left, he drank until his stomach bled and raced through the streets in the middle of the night until he ended up in the hospital.
I was the one who barely left his side, taking care of him and helping him pull himself together.
After five whole years, he finally agreed to marry me.
But at the wedding, just as we were about to exchange rings…
Li Yun, who had vanished, appeared again.
She said nothing. Did nothing. She simply stood there.
Her eyes only reddened slightly, and Gu Zhou lost his mind.
Chapter 2
He threw down the ring and ran toward her without a care for anything else.
He locked her tightly in his arms, as if he were afraid she would disappear in front of him again.
From a distance, Li Yun curved her lips and gave me a triumphant smile.
As if she were saying, See that, Su Qingyu?
A white moonlight doesn’t have to do a thing. She only has to stand there quietly to beat more than 1,800 days and nights of your devotion.
The guests erupted in shock. Gu Zhou’s father was so furious he swung his cane at Li Yun.
“You disgrace!”
Gu Zhou shielded her at once. The cane split his forehead open, and blood streamed down.
Li Yun touched his wound with heartbroken tenderness, crying until her face was soaked with tears.
“Ah Zhou.”
He caught her hand and openly laced his fingers through hers, his voice gentle.
“You idiot. Why are you crying? What kind of bride-snatching is this?”
“Couldn’t you at least say, ‘Come with me’?”
Chapter 3
Her tears poured down even harder.
“Ah Zhou, are you still willing to come with me?”
He smiled tenderly, every word sincere.
“I told you. As long as you come, I’ll go with you.”
“That promise will always stand.”
Father Gu was so angry he nearly fainted, but no one could stop them.
Hand in hand, they walked forward without looking back.
Li Yun turned to look at me triumphantly and gave me a contemptuous smile.
Her lips moved silently, mouthing something to me.
“I told you. This time, I can still beat you.”
Yes. She had come to see me first last night.
She looked over my wedding dress and let out a soft laugh.
“Su Qingyu, this wedding dress was custom-made for me by him back then.”
I did not argue.
Because she was right. Even the measurements were hers. It was too big on me, making it hard to walk.
But I still smiled sweetly at Gu Zhou and told him I loved it.
She shook her watch at me in provocation.
That white watch and Gu Zhou’s black one were a pair.
They were not especially expensive watches, but because she had given it to him, he had never been willing to take it off. If I so much as touched it, he would lose his temper.
Just like in high school, she ground me under her heel.
“So what if I hurt him that badly back then? So what if you stayed with him for five years? Do you believe me when I say I’ll still beat you tomorrow?”
Tears streaming down my face, I begged her, “Don’t go near him. You deceived him and betrayed him. He’ll torment you to death.”
She laughed. “Torment me? What do you know? I am his white moonlight, and a white moonlight is always pure and untouchable.”
