My Master Is an Unkillable Strange Boss - Chapter 3
Chapter 3
A layer of cold sweat soaked through my back.
Every hair on my body stood on end, but I didn’t dare take a single step back.
Never mind what nonsense those strange words that had appeared were spouting. As long as the players believed them, the more radical ones would attack me on the spot and try to force out the bizarre boss.
At this point, I chose to play blind.
I pretended I couldn’t see the bullet comments.
“Anything else you want to ask? If you keep blocking the doorway, you’ll affect my business.”
I pushed the Eyeball Flower toward Song Yan.
The next second, something cut through the air. A dagger shot straight toward the center of my forehead.
The Eyeball Flower was knocked apart, scattering all over the floor.
It was too fast. At this distance, I had no time to dodge.
But in that critical instant, someone knocked the dagger off course.
It grazed past my ear, slicing off a lock of my long hair.
The strand curled in midair, then drifted unsteadily to the ground.
“Song Yan, are you insane?!”
Glasses Guy clutched his reddened wrist, his eyes nearly splitting with rage.
“Didn’t you see it? If we attack this NPC, we can draw out the boss!”
“He’s badly injured right now. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance. Kill him, and the Strange World will disappear. You…”
Song Yan’s expression was very cold.
“This is the Strange World. Are you sure you want to believe those bullet comments that suddenly appeared?”
“Besides.”
Song Yan’s gaze swept over the ring of strange beings outside who had rushed over after hearing the commotion.
“If the boss appears at a time like this, can we still escape?”
The players looked at one another. No one said another word.
“Sorry. I won’t be taking the flower.”
Song Yan paid double in strange currency.
He turned and left, but there were still some who refused to give up.
Glasses Guy’s chest heaved up and down as he glared at me, furious and aggrieved.
A kind-hearted player tugged at him.
“Let’s go. Bro Song already left.”
I picked up the bundle of Eyeball Flowers from the floor.
With a bit of tidying, they could still be sold.
One flower, three profits.
At that thought, I gave Glasses Guy a very friendly smile.
To my surprise, Glasses Guy first froze. Then terror spread through his eyes, and his entire body began to tremble.
Before the player beside him could urge him a second time, he turned and ran, looking exactly like there was a ghost chasing him.
Huh?
I glanced behind me. There wasn’t anyone there.
Do I really look that scary?
