My Villainous Persona Collapses as My Family Reads My Mind - Chapter 30
Song Zhaojing’s words instantly ignited Song Wei’s fury.
She grabbed the garbage on the floor and hurled it at Song Zhaojing, all the grievances she had suffered tonight at the Shen Family exploding at once. She shouted angrily, “Why don’t you just die! If it weren’t for you, how could I have been driven out by the Shen Family?”
The foul-smelling trash hit him, and Song Zhaojing immediately lost his temper. He angrily slammed the mouse aside, got up, and strode towards Song Wei.
His expression twisted with malice as he glared at Song Wei. He walked up and slapped her hard across the face.
A crisp slap rang out. Song Wei staggered, unable to stand firm. Her ears buzzed, her whole head spinning.
Song Zhaojing gritted his teeth and berated her, “You’re useless! You can’t even handle a man, and now you’re throwing a tantrum here?”
“If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t have even gotten your parents’ compensation. The Shen Family would’ve swallowed it up long ago!”
“And now, not only do you not thank me, you’re blaming me instead.”
Song Wei clutched her face, looking up with eyes full of resentment at her second uncle standing before her.
Song Zhaojing cursed, “What are you staring at? Instead of acting tough at home, why don’t you figure out how to catch that golden son-in-law Shen Que? Your parents’ compensation is almost gone. If you don’t want to end up on the street, you’d better get a move on.”
At these words, Song Wei’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Thirty million – how could you have spent it so quickly? That’s my parents’ compensation, not yours!”
As soon as she finished, a second slap landed on her face.
“Your parents are my eldest brother and sister-in-law. Their compensation is mine! What right do you, a bratty girl, have to take that money?”
Song Wei bit her lip hard, all the resentment she’d accumulated toward her second uncle bursting forth in an instant.
“It’s mine! It’s mine! Give the money back to me, do you hear?”
“This house was bought by me, too. You have no right to live here.”
“Get out!”
Her voice was sharp, her hands waving as she kept tugging at Song Zhaojing.
But in the next second, Song Zhaojing yanked her hair and pressed her against the wall.
“You brat, itching for trouble, are you?”
Song Zhaojing wanted to teach Song Wei a lesson, but in her struggle, her own clothes became disheveled, the buttons at her collar somehow coming undone.
Being tall, Song Zhaojing looked down and saw a patch of snowy white skin and the faint hint of cleavage.
In an instant, a surge of lust flooded him.
Song Zhaojing’s eyes, previously full of rage, were now gradually overtaken by desire.
He gripped Song Wei’s shoulder, forcefully pinning her to the wall, while his other hand dropped down, attempting to lift her skirt.
“Still haven’t gotten Shen Que after all this time? Must be because you have no experience, right? In that case, your second uncle will teach you well tonight.”
Like a devil’s whisper, Song Wei’s anger instantly vanished, replaced by intense terror.
She cried out in fear, “What are you doing?!”
Song Zhaojing gave a low snort. “What am I doing? Of course, I’m going to teach you how to serve a man – then you’ll be able to please Shen Que.”
As he spoke, that foul-smelling hand was already caressing Song Wei’s thigh.
At such close distance, Song Wei’s nostrils were filled with his stench.
She fought the nausea, pushing him away again and again. “Song Zhaojing, you bastard! I’m your niece – how can you do this to me!”
“So what if you’re my niece? As long as you don’t have a baby, it’s fine. Since someone’s going to take advantage, it might as well be me.”
“Xiao Wei, you have to learn this well. It’ll help you.”
Song Zhaojing muttered inhuman things, his hands growing more impatient.
After all, Song Wei greatly resembled her mother. Song Zhaojing had fantasized about his sister-in-law before; now, faced with someone so similar, he completely lost his senses.
Song Wei was truly terrified.
She struggled and screamed with all her might.
Suddenly, a series of urgent, rough knocks at the door interrupted Song Zhaojing’s actions.
“What are you yelling about in the middle of the night? Can’t people get some rest? Have some decency, will you?” The person outside the door shouted angrily.
Song Wei took the opportunity to break free from Song Zhaojing’s grasp.
She quickly composed herself and opened the door. “Sorry, we’ll keep it down.”
Seeing that she was just a young girl, the person outside glanced inside cautiously.
But since Song Wei only opened the door a crack, she blocked Song Zhaojing from view.
“Watch it next time. If you disturb the neighbors again, I’ll call the police.”
“Of course, we’ll be careful.”
Song Wei felt deeply grateful to this neighbor who knocked. If not for him, she might have been ruined by her beastly second uncle.
So, facing the man’s warning, she wasn’t the least bit upset.
As soon as the man left, Song Wei quickly walked out, not giving Song Zhaojing another chance to act.
Inside the room, Song Zhaojing looked a bit disappointed, but he regained some composure, crossing his arms and grinning wickedly at her.
He said, “What a pity.”
Song Wei was trembling with a mix of anger and fear.
“You animal!” she rasped.
Song Zhaojing just smiled indifferently, the same disgusting lust in his eyes.
Seeing this, Song Wei didn’t dare linger any longer and fled in a panic.
She ran all the way out of the residential compound, only then noticing the light rain falling from the sky.
Recalling the terrifying incident just now, and thinking of how cold Shen Que was to her that night, hatred surged within Song Wei.
“Meng Zhiyi, why did you have to show up and ruin everything for me? If it weren’t for you, I could have stayed with the Shen Family forever!”
“Meng Zhiyi!”
“Meng Zhiyi!”
Song Wei gritted her teeth, repeating Meng Zhiyi’s name over and over.
“Achoo.”
In the dormitory, Meng Zhiyi, who was already lying down, sneezed, then rolled over and rubbed her nose.
“Who’s thinking about me in the middle of the night?”
She mumbled and soon drifted off to sleep.
Since Shen Que had publicly confirmed his relationship with Meng Zhiyi, it was common to see them together on campus.
At first, the onlookers found it odd, but gradually they accepted this undeniable fact.
The god they had placed on a pedestal had been pulled down by someone they thought was a nobody.
That day, after finishing her last class, Meng Zhiyi returned to her dorm to pack a few things, planning to go home for the weekend.
She wanted to make her presence felt again in front of the Meng Family.
As soon as she got downstairs, she saw Shen Que already waiting by the roadside.
At the same time, she heard Ding Yue and Song Wei’s voices behind her.
Meng Zhiyi turned around. When she saw the haggard Song Wei, her eyes narrowed slightly.
[Oh my, she’s become so gaunt, even I can’t help but feel a pang of pity.]
[No wonder Shen Que ends up desperately chasing her later-Song Wei’s so heartbroken, yet he doesn’t seem to care at all.]
Shen Que walked over, just in time to hear Meng Zhiyi talking about something outlandish again.
He didn’t spare Song Wei a single glance and came straight to Meng Zhiyi’s side. “Let’s go, I’ll take you home first.”
At that moment, Song Wei looked up, her gaze at Shen Que filled with grievance and sorrow.
Just as Meng Zhiyi was about to say something, Shen Que, already anticipating her move, reached out and took her hand first.
“The ice cream I bought for you is about to melt.”
With that, he pulled her along.
Meng Zhiyi’s attention was immediately diverted, but she still maintained her spoiled tone. “If it melts, you have to buy me another one! That’s you failing at your boyfriend duties.”
Shen Que replied, “Alright, I’ll buy you another.”
Hearing their conversation, the last glimmer of hope in Song Wei’s eyes was extinguished.
She lowered her gaze, a cold light flickering in her eyes, and said to Ding Yue beside her, “Yueyue, can you help me?”
