Summary
When I was four, I dismembered the palace cats. When I was five, I caught every bird in the courtyard and made a “Hundred Birds Painting.” From my imperial father and mother down to the palace maids and eunuchs, everyone said I was mad. Only my elder sister held me tight and begged our parents not to send me away, swearing a vicious oath that she would teach me to be good. Tsk. What could I do with her? And so, I began pretending to be obedient. I kept up that act for ten years. Until my elder sister was sent away for a marriage alliance and died one month after being named a consort. I went to my imperial father. “Send me for the marriage alliance.”
