Summary
Shen Yi poisoned Xie Zhao, broke his legs, and kept him prisoner for three years. Then Xie Zhao killed him. When Shen Yi wakes in the past, his own wounds are gone, but Xie Zhao has already lost his voice—and he remembers their previous life too. Terrified of repeating what happened, Shen Yi tries to undo the damage he caused. Yet Xie Zhao refuses to let him disappear. Between memories of a brutal childhood, unbearable guilt, and a desperate search for a cure, neither can explain what binds them together. This time, escape may not mean what Shen Yi thinks.
