I had always known Lan Shiyu was no good.

I had not known he was also a pervert.

I was a sword cultivator, not an acrobat, yet he wanted me to perform a sword-swallowing act for him.

With two swords!

“I’m warning you, don’t push your luck. Even if you’re in your breeding phase, this is too much!”

I struggled desperately, only for him to force my waist lower and draw me ever closer.

With my dignity hanging by a thread, I shut my eyes and surrendered.

“I was wrong. I won’t be picky anymore. Could I… have what I was eating before?”

Lan Shiyu’s breathing turned abruptly harsh.

His slit pupils lingered on my lips. Lust and obsession tangled within them, enough to terrify anyone who met his gaze.

In the end, however, he stopped pushing me down.

“Good baby. Then tell me”—he stroked my face, his coaxing tone carrying an unmistakable threat—“what should you call me?”

In my heart: Idiot. Lunatic. Filthy pervert.

Aloud, I chose survival. “Senior Brother. Eldest Senior Brother.”

It was the first time I had ever addressed Lan Shiyu that way. I had always called him by name because acknowledging him as my senior felt like admitting defeat.

But circumstances had humbled proud Xie Wanfeng. Surely he would be satisfied now.

He was not.

Lan Shiyu shook his head in disappointment. “Baby, you mustn’t call people the wrong thing. What senior brother nurses his junior sister?”

So he knew!

“It seems you would rather eat…” His gaze drifted down.

Furious and mortified, I covered his eyes. “Just tell me what you want me to call you.”

He did not resist. He merely gathered me carefully into his arms.

“You should call me Daddy, silly baby.”

I stared at him.

Damned Lan Shiyu! How dare he humiliate me? I would—

The two threatening “greatswords” prodded my thigh.

“…Da-Daddy.”

I refused to remember what happened after that.

Lan Shiyu had forced the word out of me, yet the moment I said it, he became even more deranged.

I did not know what a normal merman’s breeding phase looked like, but it certainly could not resemble his disgraceful behavior.

Deep in the demon’s cave lay a hot spring. After his first attempt at feeding me, Lan Shiyu carried me into the pool.

He raised a barrier and claimed the spring as his temporary nest, while I became the treasure he had stolen.

The pool was broad and deep, making me feel like an insignificant mayfly in an enormous world. My only foothold was the black tail that forever held me above the water.

Eventually, I grew accustomed to Lan Shiyu crossing every boundary. The spring gave our bodies the same warmth until they seemed almost inseparable.

For an entire month, he tormented me with endless variations, feeding me, bathing me, and coaxing me to sleep.

At some point he became obsessed with marking me. He could leave tooth marks even through my clothes.

At first, whenever he bit too hard, I slapped him twice. Later, I simply lay there and let him chew.

Fair was fair: however hard he bit me, I sucked him back just as fiercely.

My competitive spirit had strayed onto a dangerous road.

Then, one day, his breeding phase ended.

One moment Lan Shiyu was coaxing me to take a few more mouthfuls. The next, nothing came out.

My dazed mind sensed something was wrong, but my lips and teeth had developed habits of their own. I instinctively ground down harder.

Lan Shiyu stifled a groan. “J-Junior Sister…”

The tail supporting my hips vanished, transforming into two long, pale legs. With nothing beneath me, I toppled toward the water. Lan Shiyu reacted quickly and caught me on his knee.

“Junior Sister, are you all right? Wait, you… I… we…”

He clutched his robes closed with one hand and stared at me in bewildered panic.

I stared back.

Go on. Look at me like an innocent wife confronting a scoundrel one more time. I dared him.
