Chapter 10

I started touching and rubbing against him uncontrollably. Lu Hanchen’s breathing grew heavier and heavier, and his tightly pressed lips finally parted with a soft pant.

I kept staring at his mouth. In the end, I really couldn’t hold back and bit down on it.

The world went quiet. The man’s lashes trembled violently in my arms, and the pounding of his heartbeat left my whole body tingling.

After who knew how long, an even hotter kiss bloomed between our lips-then suddenly, a loud slam came from outside the door.

I froze. It was only after the scrolling comments reminded me that I remembered Lu Hanchen and Lu Zhou were still sharing sensations.

Thinking of how Lu Zhou was probably being driven half-crazy by it next door, I suddenly tipped my head back and pulled away a little.

The coldness that usually filled Lu Hanchen’s eyes had turned soft and hazy. His voice was hoarse beyond belief.

“Why’d you stop kissing me?”

I stammered, unable to say anything. I couldn’t exactly tell him I knew the two of them were sharing sensations, could I?

There was still a sheen of moisture at the corner of Lu Hanchen’s lips. After a long while, he seemed to remember too, and his expression instantly darkened.

We stayed quiet until I heard a faint sound coming from outside the door.

Before I could react, Lu Hanchen covered my ears and pulled me into his arms.

“Then no more kissing. Sleep.”

The scrolling comments exploded.

[Yo, both are standing at attention?]

[Big brother only remembered to get jealous now? Isn’t that a little late?]

[Little brother’s crying at the door. Has anyone kept count of how many tears Lu Zhou’s shed lately?]

[Serves him right. Who told him not to say anything? The supporting female character originally liked him more, and even with his wife in his arms every single day, he still managed to lose her. Honestly, that’s almost impressive.]

[But when Lu Zhou was little, he almost got lost because he was tricked, so isn’t it normal that he’s especially sensitive about deception? He also never expected that before he’d even sorted out his own feelings, the supporting female character would turn around and dive into big brother’s arms.]

[Replying to the comment above: she didn’t dive in on her own-big brother dragged her into his arms. He’d been waiting for months, and he finally got his shot.]

I lay there in Lu Hanchen’s arms, staring blankly at those scrolling comments, and swallowed.

What did that mean?

Lu Zhou… likes me too?

No way…

I started thinking back. Lu Zhou’s eyes really had seemed especially red lately.

Every time he looked at me, the moisture in his eyes seemed close to spilling over, only for him to hurriedly look away.

And every time I got close to his brother, he always seemed like he wanted to rush out and stop it…

My head started to ache a little. How had things gotten more and more off like this?

[Big brother’s so pissed he’s about to pass out. He’s hard to the point of aching, but he doesn’t dare kiss her again.]

[Little brother’s still crying outside the door. It hurts my heart just watching. He got tricked, then abandoned, and now his wife got stolen by his own brother. He can feel her kissing and touching big brother, and his body feels all the same pleasure, but his heart is about to break from the pain.]

[Guys like big brother who claw their way up from third wheel status are always the most ruthless about defending their position.]

I unconsciously scratched at Lu Hanchen’s waist, and his breathing grew a little heavier.

“Be good. Let’s leave it at this for tonight.”

His brows were tightly knit. He was probably troubled too.

The scrolling comments kept flashing by.

[Actually, if the female lead hadn’t shown up, the supporting female character definitely would’ve ended up with the male lead. They were ridiculously clingy back then. The second she held out her hand, the male lead would pull her into his arms. Big brother next door was jealous enough to cry.]

[What exactly are you trying to say? Are you blaming the female lead? Our female lead hasn’t done anything bad so far except eat two extra apples, three cans, five sausages, and three bags of chips!]

[Enough, just take your glutton home already. What we’re discussing now is how to solve this mess.]

Back then, they slept holding each other every day. One time in the middle of the night, the male lead’s mouth accidentally brushed her neck. She was obviously awake, but she didn’t push him away.]

My whole body went stiff. Damn it, they even know about that?!
