The Brother I Betrayed - A. Introduction

Xie Yan was my elder brother, though we shared no blood.

He was also the former lover I had seduced and then abandoned.

On the day I married another man to better my prospects, Xie Yan made me a bitter promise.

“I will never see you again.”

I smiled sweetly. “Nothing could please me more, Brother.”

…

Later, disaster struck my husband’s family, and they sent me to Commander Xie’s residence to plead for help.

Xie Yan allowed me to stay, but refused to see me.

Desperate, I forced my way into his rooms—only to find them covered in portraits of me.

A burning-hot body suddenly pressed against my back. Xie Yan dragged me into his arms.

“I told you never to let me see you again. Yet here you are, walking straight into my trap.”

“A-Shu, do you want to save that useless husband of yours so badly? I can save him… but you’ll have to give me yourself in exchange.”
