I had been stuck in this run-down place for as long as I could remember.

I had some understanding of the pleasures mortals loved so excessively-even lost themselves in-but I couldn’t claim to know them all that well.

Which was why it wasn’t until I had stripped him bare that I realized something.

I seemed to be a goddess statue.

Even if I wanted to amuse myself with this man, I didn’t have anything useful for the task.

But there were always more solutions than problems.

Following his memories, I gave myself a new appearance.

So when he finally woke, clear-headed, and lifted his eyes to look at me-

What he saw was a face he knew all too well.

Dressed in a pale pink liuxian dress and wearing the face of his little junior sister, I raised a hand in a charming little greeting.

“Immortal Lord Xie, are you feeling any better?”

Xie Cixian went silent for a breath.

The next instant, his longsword flashed from its sheath and came to rest beside my neck. His cold, vicious voice was filled with killing intent.

“Evil thing. What exactly are you?”

It seemed his body had recovered quite well. He even had the strength to threaten me now.

I tilted my head, reached out, and gripped the blade of his sword, pushing it aside with a little force.

“Why are you angry? Do I not look like her? I saw part of your memories. You used to smile at this little girl quite gently.”

The same face, so why wouldn’t he smile at me?

Oh my. He was even glaring.

Seeing as he seemed particularly displeased with me using this face, I shrugged in great regret and changed back into my own appearance-the human version.

What would a divine statue look like if it became a real person?

With that, he drew his robes closed and raised a hand, preparing to push open the temple doors.

“Oh? Is the Immortal Lord threatening me? I’m so scared.”

Laughing, I snapped my fingers. The broken wooden doors of the gloomy temple slammed shut in front of Xie Cixian in an instant.

“But who said our transaction was just one night together?”

“Immortal Lord Xie, you still can’t leave yet.”
