Summary
Song Heng arrives on Hitt Island with two orders from his young master: stop the beautiful and dangerous Liu Qin from sleeping with anyone else—and never fall in love with him himself. The first sounds difficult. The second sounds impossible only after it is already too late. Liu Qin rules District Two with a vicious reputation and a trail of powerful lovers, but beneath his rose-scented elegance lies a life shaped by exploitation and betrayal. Blunt, stubborn, and hopelessly literal, Song Heng cannot explain what Liu Qin means to him. He can only stand between Liu Qin and anyone who hurts him, even when Liu Qin turns that loyalty into a weapon.
