Summary
When I was little, I once saved a Black Snake. After I came of age, he took human form and married me to repay the favor. Then one day, I overheard the Scorpion Demon whispering to him, saying that killing me would cure his heart ailment. That filthy bastard! What kind of fearmongering nonsense was that? So I grabbed the Black Snake by the tail on the spot and used him as a whip, smacking the Scorpion Demon hard across the mouth. The Black Snake wailed like a boiling kettle that had gained sentience. “Wife, wife! Wife, put me down! Listen to me, listen! I can bite him! I can bite him! I really can bite him!”
