A River of Spring Mist - Chapter 3
Chapter 3
Chen Yan and Xu Ran drove away.
Jiang Chiye put away his earphones and walked over to me.
I was still squatting on the ground, curled into a small ball.
My hands were behind my back, covering the small lump where my tail was pushing up against my skirt.
Jiang Chiye was very close to me.
I could smell the scent on him.
It was completely different from Chen Yan’s.
His pheromones were incredibly strong.
It was practically an aphrodisiac for my kind.
I felt dizzy and dazed.
Jiang Chiye looked down at me. “Li Wu, what do I have to do to make you stop crying?”
Ooh, his voice sounded so good too.
How had I never noticed how pleasant his voice was before?
My mind was a chaotic mess of thoughts.
I loved the way he said my name. I wondered if his voice would get huskier and more seductive when he was kissing?
My ears felt like they were about to twitch and pop out.
I hurriedly raised my hands to press them down.
But, oh no, I was losing control.
I could only bite my lip and plead with him, “I want a kiss.”
Jiang Chiye seemed to raise an eyebrow slightly.
“How do you want me to kiss you?”
I bit my lip, my teeth grazing the soft flesh.
I thought about how Chen Yan used to kiss me.
I thought about the drawings and descriptions in that little booklet.
To keep from revealing my true form, I just needed to feel “pleasure.”
Even though I wasn’t human, I was still a bit shy.
Covering my ears, I whispered in a tiny voice, “The kind of kiss that makes me feel good… okay?”
Jiang Chiye seemed to curl his lips into a smirk.
He leaned down, his high bridge of his nose almost touching the tip of mine.
“Li Wu.”
“Yes?”
“Do you even know what it means to kiss you until you ‘feel good’?”
I blinked my reddened eyes.
My mind went blank; I couldn’t think of anything.
We were too close.
His breath brushed against the tip of my nose.
Scalding, burning.
That wonderful scent on him enveloped me like an overwhelming wave.
My blood began to boil.
It felt like it was about to burst through my veins.
Most importantly, seeing Jiang Chiye from this close…
He was so handsome that my heart was fluttering wildly; I couldn’t restrain myself at all.
I tilted my face up and kissed him directly.
I didn’t forget to close my eyes.
Chen Yan used to say my eyes were too big and too innocent.
He said he felt guilty when we kissed, so he told me I must remember to close them.
I was very obedient and remembered that rule well.
Jiang Chiye didn’t push me away.
On the contrary, after a brief second…
He suddenly pulled me up from the ground.
He pressed me directly against a small tree nearby, taking control of the kiss.
Jiang Chiye didn’t seem very good at kissing.
He accidentally bit me a few times.
I let out a soft hum to remind him, “Jiang Chiye, don’t bite.”
“Do you not know how to kiss?”
“Have you never kissed a girl before?”
“Forget it, open your mouth…”
“Li Wu.”
Jiang Chiye’s burning palm suddenly gripped the back of my neck.
His breathing was ragged as he panted softly against my ear.
“Again.”
This time, his kiss was heavy and deep.
It was as if he wanted to devour me whole; the root of my tongue grew numb from his suction.
I lost my senses, turning so soft in his arms that I could barely stand.
Until his large hand pressed against the tail behind me.
“Li Wu?”
Within Jiang Chiye’s lust-filled eyes, a hint of surprise flickered.
I nearly screamed out loud.
In a rare moment of quick thinking, I blurted out, “It’s a toy! Don’t touch it, okay?”
Jiang Chiye’s palm suddenly pressed down harder.
I clearly felt his sudden displeasure.
“Li Wu.”
“You certainly know how to play, don’t you?”
He took a light nip of my lip. “Turns out you aren’t a good girl at all.”
