Adorable Ghost Can Be Eaten as Food - Chapter 4
Chapter 4
The man walked toward the bathroom.
He didn’t close the door, so I followed him in.
He was brushing his teeth.
I had a toothbrush too, hidden in the small grove of trees along with the rest of my luggage.
However, I used the cheap toothpaste sold by the Underworld for use in the Mortal Realm.
His toothpaste was a translucent, pale green.
I leaned in to take a sniff; it smelled wonderful.
Tomorrow, after I finish work, I’ll drag my luggage over here and try out his toothpaste.
After finishing his business, the man returned to the bedroom, sat on the bed, and picked up his phone.
I paced back and forth right in front of him.
His eyes didn’t flicker once.
“Hahaha, he really can’t see me, he can’t see me…” I hopped and skipped around him happily.
Once I grew tired of all the jumping, I lay down on the bed-still dressed only in my underwear-and struck a seductive pose in front of him. “Sleeping in the most comfortable bed, watching the most handsome guy!”
The man was a night owl.
He looked at his phone for a long time without showing any signs of sleepiness.
I wasn’t sleepy either.
As ghosts in the Mortal Realm, we can only go out at night; I spend almost all day sleeping.
“What on earth is he looking at?” I sat up and leaned toward him, glancing at his phone. “Why doesn’t he watch TV?”
I lay beside him, bored out of my mind.
The man got out of bed and went to the bathroom again.
When he returned, he opened the drawer of the nightstand, pulled out a tablet, and started a movie.
He propped a large rectangular pillow against the headboard and leaned back against it. Then, he pulled over a stand to hold the tablet, bent one leg up, and began to watch.
Delighted, I scrambled up and sat beside him to watch along.
However, the tablet was much smaller than the big TV. Sitting next to him, I had to tilt my head at an awkward angle.
I looked at his bent leg and felt that the empty space in his arms was the best seat in the house.
I looked up at the man’s handsome face, feeling a bit shy…
But after only a moment’s hesitation, I crawled into his lap anyway.
He sat leaning against the headboard, while I sat leaning against his chest.
The man was tall and broad; sitting in his arms, I finally felt how petite I was.
I leaned back boldly against him, the back of my head resting against his firm, sexy chest.
We watched the movie together.
It was a comedy, quite funny, but the man didn’t make a sound.
The only sound in the room was that of a single ghost.
“Haha, hahaha…” I, having a very low threshold for humor, huddled in the man’s arms and laughed like an idiot.
It didn’t matter; he couldn’t see me anyway!
When the movie ended, the man finally prepared for sleep.
I was a bit curious-what did he do for a living?
If he went to sleep so early in the morning, what time did he start work?
Was he on vacation?
Forget it, that’s not something an outside ghost should worry about.
At the break of dawn.
Though there was no rooster’s crow, the wall clock gave a soft “ding” at six in the morning.
His curtains were heavy and triple-layered, providing excellent blackout.
Sunlight is extremely harmful to ghosts, so from that perspective, this home really suited me!
I happily snuggled into his blankets.
The man’s arm was naturally outstretched toward the edge of the pillow.
I “reluctantly” used his arm as a pillow.
However, I usually wear pajamas to sleep, and my underwear felt too restrictive.
I took it off and dove back under the covers.
The man lay on his side, and so did I.
I looked up, meeting his handsome face, and couldn’t help but feel… a bit shy.
But remembering that he couldn’t see me at all, I became brazen again.
I leaned into his embrace and took a light sniff.
His scent had a faint fragrance.
Even stranger, the closer I got to him, the more refreshed my whole body felt.
Lying next to him, I had the sensation of lying in someone else’s bathroom…
It was an aura perfectly suited for nourishing a ghost.
