After Marrying the Rustic Husband of the True Heiress - Chapter 3
Chapter 3
“Say that again.”
Wei Liao’s expression was calm, his tone composed.
But the look in his eyes made me go on guard despite myself.
Was he deaf?
Confused, I was just about to repeat myself when I felt a hand settle on my waist.
To be honest, my waist wasn’t exactly that slender.
But Wei Liao’s palm was simply too large. No, everything about him was large.
He was taller and broader than any man in the capital.
With one hand, he looked like he could snap my waist in two.
He suddenly exerted force and lightly pulled me in by the waist.
I fell uncontrollably into his arms.
When I looked up, I could see the taut line of his jaw.
I was about to speak, but his fingers had already pressed against my lips, kneading them.
“My wife, if you’ve thought it through, then say it again.”
The floating words went wild:
[Say it! Hurry up and say it! Female lead, open that doomed mouth of yours!]
[Every time she says it, she gets *ed once, hehehe!]
[The commenter above got it wrong, right? It’s every word the male lead doesn’t like that gets her *ed once!]
For every word I said, Wei Liao was going to hit me once?
My eyes widened in terror.
Only belatedly did I realize that these words might not be on my side at all!
I was such a fool. I had actually trusted strangers so easily.
No!
I couldn’t say it again!
If I said it to Wei Liao’s face, wouldn’t he beat me to death?
I quickly said, “I-I-I haven’t thought it through…”
At that, Wei Liao raised a brow and curved his lips.
His palm, carrying a scorching heat, rubbed over the small of my back.
Every time he kneaded, I couldn’t help trembling.
Wei Liao seemed to find it amusing, because his rubbing grew faster and faster.
My legs went so weak it was ridiculous. My whole body was about to collapse downward, so I ended up sprawled directly against Wei Liao, relying entirely on him to hold me up.
He lowered his head and bent down, his voice low and hoarse beside my ear.
“Since you haven’t thought it through, then think it over properly.”
I nodded again and again. “Okay, okay. I’ll think about it again.”
“I don’t like what you said today.”
Wei Liao still seemed somewhat displeased. Fiercely, he bit my ear.
Startled and frightened, I cried out, my whole body shaking from the pain.
“Husband, that hurts. Be gentler. I can’t take you being so big…”
Such a big bite force.
Wei Liao sucked in a breath.
Amid a chorus of wails and complaints from the floating words before my eyes, he shoved me away, turned, and left.
I was left standing there alone, stunned.
Before he left, Wei Liao threw down one sentence: “You might as well torment me to death!”
[Author, you’re tormenting me to death too.]
[My panties are doing squats right now.]
[I give up. The male lead’s brakes are smoother than my little BMW’s.]
I stopped paying attention to those words. After racking my brains for a long while, I came up with a brilliant way to request to be Cast Off.
Since saying it would get me beaten by Wei Liao, then I would write it instead.
I was truly too clever!
No time like the present.
I found paper and brush, then wrote a long and eloquent Divorce Confession.
Holding the Divorce Confession in my hands, I anxiously went to find Wei Liao.
“This way, Wei Liao won’t get angry, right?”
[How did such a malicious author write such a sweet little idiot of a female lead?]
[Forget it. As long as we get fed, it’s fine.]
