Bunny Beastman Palm Pet - Chapter 2
Chapter 2
There’s a hot spring nearby.
I discovered it recently.
The pool is bubbling with steam. I quickly strip off my clothes and swim to the center.
Little Black stands dumbly on the bank. I grab it and pull it into the water.
“Little rabbit, so timid?”
“Big sister won’t do anything to you.”
It floats on the surface, only its wet little head exposed, with a pair of misty, ruby-red eyes.
So pitiful.
Thinking that the rabbit hunter must be dusty from hunting, I pull Little Black over and wash it thoroughly all over.
Oh, I feel a little bump. I rub it faster.
“Hehe, I won’t bully my Little Black anymore.”
But it’s already shut its eyes in embarrassment, floating motionless on the water.
It looks so dainty everywhere.
I can’t help but laugh aloud:
“Little Black, why is your whole body so tiny! So tiny! So tiny, how will you find a wife?”
The little rabbit lets out a sharp squeak, swiftly swims ashore, shakes its head and flicks its fur.
It stands on a rock, stomping angrily, glares at me, and then dives into the bushes and disappears.
I laugh until I hiccup.
After leisurely soaking for half an hour, I’m about to get out when a shadow falls over me from behind.
“How could there be a precious female here?”
Chapter 4
I’m carried into a beastmen den.
Their faces are human-like, but with wilder, sharper features. They’re handsome, nearly two meters tall.
They have animal traits on their heads and backs-a beauty of wildness and power.
The one who brought me back is a Spotted Leopard.
As if claiming credit, he places me on his broad back:
“This female smells so good! She’ll be my mate!”
The others explode.
“Kid, where’d you find her? I want to go too!”
“She’s so fair and soft. Could she be a Little Female who escaped from some tribe?”
“Coming out of the Dark Forest without a scratch-did you steal some beastman’s mate?!”
The towering beastmen are rowdy, shaking the very ground.
The leopard beastman shields me, his blue eyes staring at me seriously:
“Female, will you be my mate?”
Seeing my silence, the other beastmen also gather around, offering themselves.
A wolfman perks up his ears, wags his tail: “I’m very obedient, always first in the hunt every year.”
An antelope beastman obediently holds out his hand:
“Our tribe is gentle, we’re good at caring for children, and I absolutely won’t let you lift a finger.”
And a giant python slithers to my leg:
“Sss sss, I can satisfy all your physical needs.”
…
After listening to hundreds of beastmen’s self-recommendations,
I shrink under the Spotted Leopard and finally squeeze out a sentence:
“Could you all back off? I can’t even see the sky anymore.”
They sigh, rub their noses, and step back.
Everyone’s eyes are still fixed on me hungrily.
I struggle weakly: “Can I think it over for a few days?”
“Female, just one night!”
The Spotted Leopard looks expectant. “Rest well tonight, and tell us your decision tomorrow.”
“If it’s too hard to choose, you could actually have us all.”
Enough!
He lifts me up and places me in a deluxe lodge.
Inside, it’s covered with soft flowers, with berries and fresh meat.
“Female, remember to pick me, okay?”
The leopard lies at the cave entrance, looking at me, then reluctantly jumps down.
I lie in the den, tears welling in my eyes.
I feel like I’ve been sold deep into the mountains, all alone in the world.
As night falls outside, everything grows pitch dark.
This tribe apparently doesn’t know how to make fire.
I can only hear the sounds of the beastmen sleeping nearby.
I carefully get up and creep out of the room.
When daylight comes, I’ll be forced to choose a mate and bear cubs. I have to escape quickly.
The ground is a full two meters below.
I grip the tree trunk and climb down little by little.
The moment my feet touch the ground, something warm touches the back of my neck-something furry pokes my body.
My scalp instantly tingles.
