Capture Her Vine - Chapter 3
Chapter 3
Qin Zhan trembled all over, gritting his teeth as he shouted with hatred, “Liu… Jiao!”
Outside the window, Liu Jiao blushed shyly and left satisfied.
The vines released Qin Zhan, but then wound upward and stuffed into his mouth.
I lowered my head, looked at his reddened eyes from anger, and smiled. “If you’re not obedient, you won’t be sleeping tonight.”
Qin Zhan was very clever; he could distinguish other people’s footsteps and tried to attract her attention.
I stared at the lines of his abdomen stretching downward. “Let’s play something different this time.”
The broken bed beneath us creaked loudly.
…
Early in the morning, I was woken up by noise.
I saw Qin Zhan standing rigidly in place, with a stool he had kicked over beside his feet.
Qin Zhan truly was a man among men. After a night of hoarse screaming, he could still get up and walk around with plenty of energy.
At the same time, the sound of maids arguing came from outside.
I sensed something was off, so I extended a vine, pressing it against Qin Zhan’s lower abdomen and pushing him back. “Don’t move around, or you know the consequences.”
Qin Zhan fell onto the bed, his legs instinctively tightening, and he cursed me in a low voice.
I walked around and found out that Liu Jiao had lost something and was searching the residence.
Several older maidservants were leading the servants to search courtyard by courtyard.
I remembered that a few days ago, I had run out of money buying medicine and secretly took a few silver pieces from Liu Jiao.
I heard that the Lady of the House wanted to use this opportunity to straighten out internal affairs and ordered a thorough search.
Liu Jiao hadn’t expected her mother to make such a fuss; in her fluster, she told me to take the person and hide in her maid’s room.
But the older maidservants circled around and found nothing, so the Lady of the House concluded that someone close to Liu Jiao was behind it and ordered a search of her quarters.
Listening to the activity outside, I stuffed Qin Zhan under the blanket.
But he suddenly grabbed my wrist, flipped me over, and pinned me beneath him. “Vicious woman, you dare threaten me again?”
Qin Zhan pinned me down like a captured criminal and asked with some surprise, “Why is your body so slender?”
This was the first time I had touched him with a human body. In his imagination, I should have been a coarse woman who could carry a man.
Qin Zhan’s injuries had mostly healed, and he was agile, but I easily broke free and threw him back onto the bed.
His gaze sharpened, and he grabbed for me again, but his voice suddenly caught.
I said helplessly, “You’re grabbing my chest.”
Qin Zhan hastily let go, but I stepped forward. He withdrew his hand as if stung and was forced back onto the bed again, his ears turning red as he cursed, “How can you be so shameless!”
I pulled the bedsheet over us both, covering us. He turned his face away in embarrassment, and his violent heartbeat transmitted through where we touched.
I patiently said, “Don’t make a sound. If you behave, I’ll let you go.”
He breathed rapidly and gritted his teeth, “And what if I don’t?”
“Then I’ll say you defiled me, and you’ll have to marry this vicious woman.”
“…”
Outside, Liu Jiao called to the older maidservants, “This maid has a serious illness that’s easily contagious. Be careful.”
Hearing that, they didn’t dare linger long, just glanced casually and left.
I kept my promise and told Liu Jiao that Qin Zhan’s injuries were healed and he shouldn’t stay any longer.
She reluctantly let him go, and fearing he would forget her, she even sewed dozens of her names onto his clothes.
Her worry was truly unnecessary. Before leaving, I heard Qin Zhan chanting “Liu Jiao” all night.
“Even before leaving, you wanted to drain me dry. Liu Jiao, I will definitely kill you!”
