Flirting with the Gloomy Boss into Losing Control - Chapter 2
Chapter 2
At this critical moment, cries for help rose and fell from outside the room.
“Help me-somebody help!”
“Ah, what is this? How did the shadows crawl up from the floor?!”
Hearing the voices, the Chainsaw Maniac charged off after the fleeing, screaming people.
I let out a sigh of relief.
From a distance, I heard Xu Yueyue’s anguished screams.
“That blood-red door on the sixth floor looked creepy enough. Who told you to touch it? You bunch of bastards! What is this mass of black shadow you brought out? It’s disgusting! I can’t shake it off!”
“Aah! Go to hell! Go to hell!”
The boss of the horror game was sealed inside that red door on the sixth floor.
After making sure Chu Su was safe, I followed the gradually fading screams through the winding corridors.
After taking countless twists and turns, I finally found a mass of shadow in a corner.
In the darkness, it took on a human form.
I focused my attention, but I hadn’t expected to step on a leaf. It cracked beneath my foot.
The young man turned around, revealing a deathly pale, gloomy face. Ink-black hair cascaded over his shoulders, and he was beautiful enough to be mistaken for a demon.
Blue blood flowed steadily from the wound in his arm.
I was dazed for a moment.
The instant he saw me, shadows surged around his body and gathered into tentacles. They tore up from the ground and suddenly stabbed toward my eyes.
Instead, I threw my arms around the tentacle lunging at me.
“You’re hurt!”
He froze.
“You can’t keep bleeding like this. I’ll bandage you!”
With that, I pulled him toward the room where we’d been staying.
Even though I knew his wound could heal on its own, I pretended not to know and wrapped it round and round with a bandage.
“Let me blow on it. It won’t hurt.”
Seeing the white bandage wrapped around the pitch-black tentacle, I practically melted from how cute it was.
I couldn’t resist giving it a pat. “So cute.”
He was so adorable that I started babbling shamelessly flirtatious nonsense uncontrollably.
Even after growing up, my type hadn’t changed at all.
The monster widened his eyes and glared at me before reaching out to strangle me.
I rested my chin in my hand and watched the soft, pointy tip of the tentacle, my heart beating faster. “Too cute! Huahua really is Mommy’s good baby!”
Upon hearing his own name, Shi Hua went completely blank.
It was as if he couldn’t imagine a player knowing his name.
In the next instant, as though enraged, he drew every shadow around him into his body, transforming into something grotesque.
The tentacles swelled and expanded until they nearly enveloped and devoured me.
He was threatening me!
I hugged him and snuggled close. “You don’t have to reward me like this!”
He was the original character I’d put the most thought into creating.
A gloomy, reclusive tentacle monster, every shadow in the entire castle was a part of him.
He could enter anywhere, which was why he was the boss of this world.
As long as I clung tightly to his coattails, I could survive until the final day.
Shi Hua’s sharp tentacle pierced the skin of my palm, but the moment it touched blood, it recoiled as though scalded.
He made a few unclear sounds.
“Why… didn’t you…”
“Dodge…”
I looked at his gloomy, pale face, now filled with helpless confusion, and my heart softened completely from how cute he was.
I reached out and stroked his cheek with my palm.
“You wouldn’t hurt me. Why should I dodge?”
“I know. Huahua may look a little scary, but he doesn’t hurt people when he isn’t being threatened.”
His eyes reddened, and he lowered his distinct, raven-black lashes.
Trembling, he revealed an aggrieved expression.
He enunciated each word heavily: “Who… are you?!”
