Happy Ending With My Yandere Junior Brother Rival - Chapter 2
Stealing my senior brothers and senior sisters was one thing.
Now he even had to steal my gentle Master.
It made me furious.
Furious enough to stoop to anything—secretly tripping him up, scheming to turn the senior brothers and junior brothers he’d lured to him against one another.
I even pushed him into a demon pit during a training excursion down the mountain, without being able to control myself.
I watched as he fought the evil spirits, on the verge of death, until the senior and junior brothers who rushed over saved him—and then, innocent as could be, I clung to him weeping and said I was sorry.
“Are you really sure it wasn’t on purpose?
“Senior Sister?”
Shen Xing’s hair was disheveled and stained with blood, a white bandage covering his brow and eyes.
He let me hold him without any reaction at all.
I stopped crying and secretly lifted my eyes.
The youth’s neck was long; his collar, slightly open, revealed pale skin. His crimson lips stood out against his cold-white, blood-stained jaw.
Only half his face was visible, and already he was arrestingly, austerely beautiful.
No wonder he could turn the whole sect upside down.
“S-sure,” I stammered. “Of course.”
That’s what I said out loud—but secretly, in the dark of my heart, I hoped the eyes the demon mist had injured would never heal.
So those beautiful peach-blossom eyes could never again seduce or bewitch anyone.
“So strange. Doesn’t Senior Sister Shen hate Junior Brother Shen? Why is she acting all worried now?”
“I heard it was because Junior Brother Shen saw Senior Sister Lin get hurt and was ambushed by the evil spirit while saving her. It’s only natural Senior Sister Shen would be concerned about him.”
“That’s true.”
Whispers rose among the disciples.
Shen Xing smoothed the line of his lips and sat there quietly.
Right. He’d done it to save someone.
And in return he’d been repaid with ingratitude, nearly dying in a demon pit.
“Come up.”
The Third Senior Brother, Gu Feng, had finished dealing with the evil spirits with the remaining disciples and drove the carriage over.
Gu Feng reached out to help Shen Xing up, but Shen Xing slipped out of his reach without a trace and named me instead.
“Let Senior Sister Wanwan do it.”
Meeting the jealous looks of several senior brothers.
I smiled awkwardly.
Resisting the urge to strangle him, I stiffly took his hand and helped him into the carriage.
Just as I was about to step back out, Shen Xing’s grip tightened and he yanked me in.
My nose bumped into the youth’s hard chest.
I landed in a heap inside the narrow carriage, tears welling up at the corners of my eyes beyond my control. My voice came out aggrieved:
“What is it? Little junior brother…”
A shadow fell abruptly over my head.
Shen Xing pulled me up from the floor with one hand and pinned my waist; with the other he gripped my jaw. His lowered voice was like that of a Shura:
“Senior Sister, do you really want me dead?”
“N-no. Not at all.”
I sat on his lap, forced to face him.
An utterly humiliating position—but because my cultivation was already low, and I’d nearly exhausted it fighting the evil spirits in the demon pit, I couldn’t resist.
Against my lower back pressed a dagger Shen Xing had drawn from his sleeve at some point, its cold touch passing through the thin fabric to my skin, then moving up to my neck.
The sharp blade gleamed with cold white light.
“The blade’s about to cut my throat.”
Shivering, I shrank into his arms.
Eyes squeezed shut, I prayed that this blind man wouldn’t let his hand slip and really kill me.
“Scared?”
My panicked look pleased him.
Shen Xing’s throat moved as he swallowed, innocent and sexy at once.
He stroked the hair at the back of my head, pressed down on my nape, and leaned close to my ear, laughing softly, dangerously:
“Senior Sister…
“If I die, you’re coming with me into the grave.
“Understand?”
