Humiliating the Cold Crown Prince - Chapter 3
Chapter 3
“Beauty, tonight I’m going to take real good care of you!”
After helping the limp Crown Prince onto the bed, I immediately threw myself on top of him.
The candlelight cast our shadows against the gauze-covered window, making the scene look extremely suggestive.
I let out a breath of relief. This should be enough to fool them, right?
The Crown Prince’s dark eyes were heavy with gloom. His breathing was weak, but he still managed to grit out through clenched teeth, “If you dare touch me, I swear I will grind your bones to dust one day.”
“Don’t be so hostile. Harmony brings prosperity, you know? Do me a favor and cooperate. It’ll be over soon.”
I flashed him a toothy grin, then sat on top of him and started wriggling back and forth.
Like a spring silkworm inching along, I squirmed until the bed creaked and groaned.
Lines of text floated up before my eyes again:
[Huh? What is this malicious cannon fodder doing? He’s not actually going through with it?]
[Holy crap, what’s he doing? Putting on a show for Prince Ning? Helping the Crown Prince bluff his way through this?]
[Then doesn’t that mean the most crucial plot point is about to collapse? How is the Crown Prince supposed to turn dark now?]
I was reading with rapt attention when I faintly heard Prince Ning and Xiao Wu talking outside.
“Xiao Wu, why do I keep feeling like something is off…?”
“This subordinate also feels that something is strange, but I cannot say what…”
Something was off?
What was off?
I jolted.
With a rip, I tore open the Crown Prince’s lapels.
The candlelight revealed his firm, broad chest, gleaming with a soft sheen.
I swallowed audibly.
Then I hooked an arm around his neck and wriggled even harder, lowering my voice into a rough laugh.
“Hahaha! Tonight, I’ll show you just how formidable I am!”
The bedframe rattled so hard it sounded like it might snap.
The Crown Prince’s face flushed so red it looked ready to drip blood. He growled at me, “Idiot! You’ve got it wrong. Not that position…”
“Oh, right!”
With his reminder, I smacked my forehead and realized where the problem lay.
So he knew how this worked after all. Why didn’t he say so earlier?
I hurriedly flipped him over, climbed on top of him, and conveniently took down the jade hook from the bed curtains.
“Bear with it. This is the only way to make it look more convincing and fool them all.”
“Urgh.” The Crown Prince gave a muffled groan. “I will kill you…”
Imitating the descriptions I’d read in storybooks, I opened my mouth and bit the back of his neck, then whispered in his ear, “Auntie-oh, no, Grandpa, I’m begging you. Do me this favor and cooperate, all right? This isn’t just for my little life. It’s also to protect your innocence, isn’t it?”
The person beneath me went silent.
I kept putting my back into it. “Sorry about this.”
Pfft-
“Urgh!”
Pfft-
“Urgh!!”
Pfft-
“Urgh!!!”
As the muffled groans grew louder and louder, the people outside finally accepted what they were hearing.
“Who would have thought this sissy wasn’t just bragging? He’s actually got some skill!”
“Brutal! Absolutely brutal!”
“Hahaha, just you wait. After tonight, I would like to see how he can still hold his head up as a man!”
“Your Highness is brilliant! If it were me, I would find some deserted river and jump in, ending it once and for all.”
