Husband Is Not Obedient - Chapter 1
Chapter 1
“Ngh!”
He Changqing let out a muffled groan.
A red welt instantly appeared across his strong, pale chest.
It crisscrossed with the red marks scratched and kneaded into his shoulders and back.
His eyes narrowed slightly. Blue veins stood out along his neck, and he clenched his back teeth.
His chest rose and fell violently. A fine sheen of sweat beaded on his skin, glittering faintly.
The comments exploded at once:
[This female supporting character really has a death wish. Just wait until the male lead tears her to pieces later!]
[My heart aches so much. The cold, aloof Crown Prince has restrained himself his whole life. He was so many people’s unattainable moonlight, and now he’s being humiliated by the female supporting character like this…]
[The look in His Highness the Crown Prince’s eyes changed after he was hit. He must hate the female supporting character to the bone!]
He Changqing kept his head lowered.
I couldn’t see his expression.
He hates me?
So that was why he was so rough at night, like he wanted to torment me to death?
My whole body was tingling and weak.
Fuming, I lifted my leg and stepped onto his chest.
My toes trailed upward along his chest, brushing over his long neck and the collar around it, then I lifted his chin with the top of my foot.
He Changqing had no choice but to raise his face.
His face was as fine as carved jade, his brows and eyes cold and severe. A pair of dark, heavy eyes stared at me in silence.
His back was ramrod straight, like a lone pine beneath the moon.
I had never liked this unyielding look of his.
In the past, it always made me torment him even more.
Today, I couldn’t hold back either.
I deliberately rubbed the top of my foot against his handsome face.
Then I spoke in a hoarse voice.
“I hit you because I wanted to. How dare you still be defiant?”
He Changqing’s Adam’s apple bobbed.
All of a sudden, he reached out and seized my ankle.
His grip was like an iron shackle, his palm hot and tight.
Startled, I kicked him in the chest.
“Who gave you permission to touch me?!”
He refused to let go. His long fingers rubbed over my fair, delicate ankle.
He even let out a soft laugh.
“Last night, my lady was the one begging this prince… this slave to touch her.”
I was so angry that I raised my hand and slapped him across the face.
“Who told you to spout nonsense?”
After being worn out all night, I had no strength in my hand.
At most, I managed to turn He Changqing’s face to the side.
His skin was pale, and a red mark slowly surfaced on his cheek.
He pressed his tongue against the side that had been hit, then slowly turned his face back.
When he saw me, his gaze froze.
His broad chest heaved violently.
Even his cheeks and the tips of his ears flushed red.
He must have been furious.
I grabbed the chain attached to his collar and pulled him closer.
Lifting my chin, I looked down at him.
“Have you forgotten how I taught you?”
His black eyes were dark and deep as he stared fixedly at me.
His grip tightened.
His Adam’s apple bobbed. Only after a long while did he grit his teeth and speak in a hoarse voice.
“This slave… thanks Mistress for the reward.”
I snorted coldly and patted his face.
As if I were training a little foal kept in captivity.
“That’s more like it.”
Only after venting my anger did I feel a faint chill.
I lowered my head.
Only then did I realize that the quilt I had gathered over my chest had somehow fallen open long ago.
It revealed skin mottled with red marks and the graceful curves beneath.
Blood rushed to my cheeks at once.
My whole body burned hot.
I wrapped my arms around my chest, both embarrassed and furious.
Then I slapped He Changqing again.
“Don’t look! Look again, and I’ll gouge out those dog eyes of yours!”
He Changqing pressed his lips together and said nothing.
Only his lowered gaze seemed to sharpen a little more.
He was never a man of many words.
In the past, I had never understood the look in his eyes either.
It was only after seeing those comments that I understood.
So he had been hating me all along.
