Chapter 15

I was brought back to the sect.

With so many people dead on this trip, the various sects had gone mad. They surrounded the Changhuai Sect, their emotions boiling over as they demanded my death.

Everyone wanted me to pay with my life.

This commotion even disturbed the Sect Leader and the Elders of the Changhuai Sect, forcing them to come out of secluded meditation overnight.

Eldest Senior Brother also felt he had an inescapable responsibility. He was the designated successor to the Sect Leader, and he had personally watched Li Miaomiao die in his arms.

So, no matter how Fifth Senior Brother and the others tried to explain, Eldest Senior Brother refused to believe them. He simply couldn’t.

During the negotiations between the sects, Eldest Senior Brother truly intended to kill me several times, nearly striking me down on the spot. He claimed he wanted to set an example and clear out the sect’s filth!

Me: …

Having a senior brother like this is truly a stroke of rotten luck.

When Li Miaomiao died, the palm strike Eldest Senior Brother hit me with was fueled by a mix of madness and fury. He had practically used his entire life’s cultivation, leaving me with barely half a life left.

My other senior brothers were all injured or crippled themselves. Fifth Senior Brother had truly risked his life just to barely drag Eldest Senior Brother back and prevent him from killing me with another strike.

It seemed this was my fate.

Once again, when Eldest Senior Brother brought several disciples from other sects to seize me for interrogation, I had actually resigned myself to my fate.

But Second Senior Sister stood in front of me once more. Her sword was already unsheathed, its sharp edge glinting.

The Female Lead refused to hand me over.

“Xiao Yu,” the Female Lead said calmly, finally facing the Male Lead with blades drawn. “You have been misled by others and are so stubborn that your stupidity is out of this world.”

“If you want to touch her today, you’ll have to kill me first.”

Eldest Senior Brother was in disbelief. His voice trembled as he said, “Fujing, you and I entered the sect together. We have twenty years of friendship!”

“Are you really going to let it all go to ruin today for her sake?”

The Female Lead let out a cold laugh. “Twenty years… and I only realized today what a massive idiot you are!”

When my mother sent me to the sect, she surely never imagined that the Female Lead would come to blows with the Male Lead for my sake. In fact, the Female Lead’s strikes were incredibly ruthless-she was practically going for the kill.

After this fight, I went from being a Demonic Cultivator to a “Demoness.”

I certainly couldn’t stay in the Changhuai Sect anymore. Fifth Senior Brother secretly undid the Restriction on me and opened the Rear Mountain Gate, telling us to run for our lives.

But the path was swarming with pursuers from various sects. We fought as we fled.

After finally managing to escape down the mountain, we were cornered again. Second Senior Sister was already exhausted from fighting a hundred opponents alone, and I was heavily injured.

The ones blocking our path were from the Thousand Source Sect.

The Elder leading them this time was the same one who had led their team at the tournament-the one who had almost slipped and fallen because of our shouting. Seeing our pathetic state now, he actually laughed out loud.

“Last time I saw you, you were full of vigor. How did you end up like this?”

This Elder looked quite young. He stood there, his white sect robes fluttering in the wind, looking like a transcendent immortal.

We couldn’t win. I couldn’t sense his cultivation level at all; an unknown level meant it was terrifying.

The Female Lead still tried to force herself to raise her sword. I pressed down on her hand, shook my head, and walked toward him.

“I’m the only Demonic Cultivator here. Just kill me,”

I said, “Don’t kill my sister. My second sister was deceived by me. In the future, she can still be a good disciple of the sect.”

But he only looked at me and gave a faint smile. “What Demonic Cultivator? I don’t see one.”

He crossed his arms over his chest and said lazily, “I only see two good friends of my sister.”

Us: ?

The people behind him looked at me and burst into laughter. The Elder pinched my cheek. “Kid, didn’t your mother ever tell you? My surname is also Lu.”

The entire mountain was filled with people searching for us. In the end, the Thousand Source Sect gave us their clothes to wear and led us away in broad daylight.

Me: ?

It was that simple? What happened to the bloody battle to the end?

Elder Lu, however, was very satisfied. He lamented, “This is great. Our Thousand Source Sect is lacking in talent, and we just happened to pick up a sword prodigy. From now on, you’re the designated Elder of our Thousand Source Sect!”

“Ahahaha, the Changhuai Sect is going to be fuming!”

Female Lead: ?

I hesitated slightly. “I… well, once we’re down the mountain, I’ll go my own way… so I don’t cause you any trouble.”

“Forget it. Who doesn’t have a few Demonic Cultivator friends?” Elder Lu said dismissively. “Look at those people acting all righteous; it’s all a facade! For all they know, they might turn around and find their own illegitimate daughter is a Demonic Cultivator, just like you.”

I: …What?

“You didn’t know?” This guy laughed loudly. “Ahahaha, you actually didn’t know! Didn’t your mother tell you? From the Sect Leader to the Elders to the guest officials of the Changhuai Sect, they’re all her ex-husbands!”

“Though, I don’t know which one is your father.”

Elder Lu rubbed his chin. “Since Eldest Senior Brother beat you up like this, I reckon whoever helps you beat him up should be your father.”

I am the Little Junior Sister of the sect, and a low-level Green Tea at that. Usually, I only know how to use basic Green Tea manipulation, and if I can’t out-manipulate someone, I just throw a tantrum. Logically speaking, a female supporting character of my caliber should have ended up miserable.

But I didn’t.

Even though I’m just a low-level Green Tea junior sister, I am the Female Lead’s precious treasure.

This was an outcome my mother never expected, no matter what. She said, “Daughter, you’re truly impressive!”

My mother told me that this was a book. The female supporting character was destined to die at the hands of the Male Lead.

But the problem was, while my mother knew she was a supporting character, she didn’t know who the Male Lead was. There were too many lunatics in the Changhuai Sect, and she couldn’t beat them all.

But she wanted to survive.

Sigh, whatever. It’s just a dozen or so men. What’s the big deal?

Only children make choices. Adults-want them all.

I escaped.

Overnight, Eldest Senior Brother was beaten up a dozen times. He was truly beaten to a pulp.

Mom.

If you had told me earlier that I was actually the most powerful Immortal Second Generation, why would I have bothered practicing demonic arts!
