Ye Susheng had no patience to wait for Yi Shuang to hand it over. The black mist went straight up and snatched it, and in the next second, it landed in her hand.

With only one hand free, it took Hua Suihe quite a while to pull a tissue from the packet in her pocket. Then she wiped the bloodstains from Ye Susheng’s face bit by bit.

Hua Suihe carefully tidied her hair, her expression gentle. “Ye Zi’s wife, I chose you before, and that won’t change now or in the future. So don’t give up on me so easily again, okay?”

Ye Susheng didn’t understand the hidden meaning in her words. She only nodded obediently. “Okay.”

The corners of Hua Suihe’s lips curved, her smile faint. She stood on tiptoe and leaned close to Ye Susheng’s ear, saying, “I’m the one you pulled in with your own hands, so you can’t just push me away whenever you like, okay? I’ll get angry.”
