Chapter 99

[This dungeon is over again. See you next time, Hua Hua~]

[Livestream closing countdown…]

[I just thought of something. If Ye Susheng is on vacation and not working, will Hua Hua still enter dungeons? Can I still see my Hua Hua before Ye Susheng’s vacation ends?]

[Ah… Streamer Bae, you have to come back early! I have no appetite without you!]

The livestream perspective closed on schedule.

Ye Susheng carried Hua Suihe back to their hotel room and turned on the warm ambient lights.

Hua Suihe was still nestled in Ye Susheng’s arms. Her brows furrowed slightly, and she let out a soft whimper, instinctively pressing her face against Ye Susheng to hide from the light.

She was awake, but her consciousness was still hazy.

Hua Suihe’s instinctive reliance left Ye Susheng feeling deeply satisfied. Unwilling to let go and place her on the bed, Ye Susheng sat on the edge of the mattress while continuing to hold her.

Hua Suihe rested in her arms for a while until her mind cleared a bit. She rubbed her forehead against the skin of Ye Susheng’s shoulder and opened her bleary eyes.

Hua Suihe’s gaze was somewhat vacant, as if she were lost in thought or simply spacing out. After a long moment, she spoke, her voice slightly raspy and laced with confusion. “Is the show over?”

The corners of Ye Susheng’s mouth curled up, her eyes curving into crescent moons. Her tone carried a hint of pride. “Mhm, Hua Hua is number one~”

“According to the show’s rules, Hua Hua can sign a contract to debut. The company will focus its resources on building your career. Do you want to be a big star, Hua Hua?”

Ye Susheng deliberately lowered her voice and slowed her pace. Since Hua Hua’s head was still resting on her shoulder, this half-asleep state was when she was most dependent. If Ye Susheng spoke too loudly, Hua Hua wouldn’t like it and wouldn’t let her hold her anymore.

“Mhm…” Hua Suihe hummed in response, blinking slowly. Her reactions were still a bit sluggish; it was unclear if she had even processed the words.

“Let’s not talk about that for now.” Knowing she couldn’t think clearly yet, Ye Susheng helped her take off her shoes and socks, slipped on her slippers, and asked softly, “Do you want to take a bath, Hua Hua?”

Sure enough, the head resting on her shoulder nodded gently. “…Bath.”

Ye Susheng brightened instantly. While holding Hua Suihe, her black mist swept up their pajamas and hung them in the bathroom as she started filling the tub.

As the warm steam gradually filled the room, Hua Suihe finally woke up properly. She struggled out of the embrace, her feet touching the floor, and leaned over to test the water temperature with her hand.

In that brief moment, when Hua Suihe finished checking the water and turned back to look at Ye Susheng, she saw the other woman’s white slip dress hit the floor, leaving her in only her undergarments.

Hua Suihe was speechless for a moment before asking the obvious: “You’re bathing with me?”

Ye Susheng replied with perfect logic, “Bathing together saves time~ and I can help scrub your back.”

“Besides, back at the bar, Hua Hua said we could when we got back…” Ye Susheng’s tone held a hint of shyness, but her actions were anything but subtle. After shedding the rest of her own clothes, she started helping Hua Suihe with hers.

Hua Suihe knew there was no escaping today, so she proactively cooperated to make it easier for Ye Susheng to undress her.

Once they were both completely bare, Hua Suihe emphasized uneasily, “It can’t be for too long, okay? We need to sleep.”

Ye Susheng nodded obediently, squeezing body wash into her palm and rubbing it onto Hua Suihe’s skin.

“I’ll listen to whatever Hua Hua says. I’m the most obedient.”

After a quick rinse, the two of them stepped into the bathtub to soak.

Ye Susheng was already intimately familiar with Hua Hua’s body and patiently engaged in plenty of foreplay.

It wasn’t until she heard the breathless, strained sounds escaping Hua Suihe’s lips that she began to explore that secret place, feeling the wonders within.
“Let us sink into desire… Baby, baby, open your mouth and make a sound. Your moans are my favorite encouragement. I love the way you bloom for me most of all, I love you most…”

Ye Susheng’s voice was sultry as she sang, pressing against Hua Suihe’s ear, deliberately humming the lyrics in Chinese.

She wanted to hear Hua Hua sing, so she used her special methods to coax her into it. Even if the sounds were broken and tuneless, she loved listening to them.

Ye Susheng was usually very obedient, but when she said they couldn’t stay in the bathroom for too long, she simply meant they couldn’t stay in the *bathroom* for too long. Once she carried the girl back to the bed, her skills at playing shameless were already well-practiced; she wouldn’t stop until dawn.

When morning came, there wasn’t a single part of Hua Suihe that didn’t ache. She didn’t even need to look to know what state her body was in.

Turning around, she saw Ye Susheng’s watery, puppy-dog eyes and couldn’t bring herself to scold her. She could only let the other girl apply ointment to her body before she drifted off into a heavy, exhausted sleep.

She didn’t know when Ye Susheng had brought her home, but when she opened her eyes again, she was back in her familiar bedroom.

Ye Susheng was nowhere to be seen. Hua Suihe dragged her heavy body out of bed, moving slowly as she washed up and tidied herself.

Just as she finished, Ye Susheng returned carrying bags of groceries.

“Hua Hua, you’re awake? There’s a bowl of porridge in the thermal container. Eat a little to settle your stomach first; I’ll start making dinner soon.”

Hearing the word “dinner,” Hua Suihe finally pulled back the curtains to check the sky. Only a sliver of the setting sun remained on the horizon as night prepared to take center stage.

An entire day had passed just like that.

Hua Suihe sat down at the dining table. Ye Susheng had already placed the porridge in front of her, and it was only when she smelled its fragrance that she realized how hungry she was.

Hua Suihe ate more than half the bowl, and her spirits improved significantly.

She called out to the busy figure in the kitchen, “Was there no work to issue quests this morning?”

“Nope. ‘No work’ includes that too.”

Hua Suihe understood. No wonder she had been so rowdy last night. If she were still expected to pick up quests, Ye Susheng would have to be standing in the Yu Sheng Troupe right now waiting for her.

However, looking at it from a game perspective, Ye Susheng had always been the NPC who issued quests. Year after year, there had never been a mention of a replacement. Now that she was on vacation and didn’t even have to issue quests, wasn’t that equivalent to changing the underlying code?

Hua Suihe found it strange. “Ye Zi, will there be other staff members taking your place while you’re off work?”

“Emmm… I don’t know.” Ye Susheng hadn’t considered the question.

Regardless of whether someone covered her shift, Thriller would still run as usual, and dungeons would open as scheduled. She didn’t have to work, but there were still plenty of other monsters who did.

Hua Suihe glanced at the settlement information from her last dungeon.

[Congratulations to player Hua Suihe for a successful clear. Reward: 3,000 points. Ranked 1st in popularity during the program, reward: 2,000 points. Current rank on the General Leaderboard: 99. Please keep up the hard work, Player.]

She was no longer considered a rookie player. Having moved off the New Player Leaderboard, she had now bridged into the rankings of the General Leaderboard.

She noticed that other players used their points to purchase items, which caused frequent fluctuations in the rankings. However, Hua Suihe had no channel to spend her points, so they simply continued to accumulate.

This time, Ye Susheng hadn’t issued a quest, and no new dungeon notification appeared in Hua Suihe’s System message bar.
